Same Power.

Last week in my bible study group I distributed copies of healing bible verses. I gathered them online for a friend battling cancer about a year ago. I’ve felt prompted to share because we are praying for many who have serious illness or physical ailments. The Real Winning Edge.

Sometimes my kids and I watch the show called ‘The Real Winning Edge’. It comes on Saturday mornings in Fox network for our area. It’s about stories of teenagers who overcome great obstacles, and live admirably and victoriously. Healing wounded soldiers.

“And blessed is he who is not offended because of me.” – Matthew 11:6 (NKJV) 

Jesus says this in response to John the Baptist’s inquiry whether or not he is the Messiah. I’ve been contemplating a lot on why Jesus would say this rather than tell John ‘yes or no’. Blessing of a skinned knee.

The book, “Blessing of a skinned knee.” by Wendy Mogel uses Jewish teachings to raise self-reliant, optimistic and well-mannered children. This book shares key Jewish principles to teach your kids with the expectation that they follow them.
