Training in Progress.

Lately the Holy Spirit has been reminding me about this blog site and to write more my experiences so that I don’t forget. I think I can understand a little bit why it took Jesus’ eye witnesses and disciples to write the four gospels on Jesus approximately 40+years after His resurrection. Life moves very fast especially with family responsibilities and ministry work!

My kids are ages 15 and 11 today. My daughter will be a sophomore in high school this fall, and my son will be entering middle school. O boy, time flies!

It still amazes me that currently I’m leading and managing two women’s prayer groups – one in my church and the other in my town. With this role comes ministry work for the members who open up to me about their struggles. I do the best that I can with the constraints that I have. I think they understand too because they really don’t overextend their requests for my help.

My husband still feels very awkward and suspicious about Jesus and Christianity therefore I need to be careful. But it is soooo much better than seven years ago. Praise God!!!

I would LOVE to have the freedom that I see others with believing spouses have. I hang onto the promise made to me several years ago that “the God of the wilderness is also the God of the ocean, the God of the air and the God of the heavens.” The Holy Spirit promised me that in due time I will experience every part. I look forward to the air and the heavens! 😃

I believe right now I’m in the ocean because many of my activities feel like fishing. I’m also having a mind of a fisherwoman. Lol. My experiences learned, living day-in and day-out with non-believing family members are helping me to draw people towards Jesus Christ. Still I’m a newbie in the world of fishing and “training in progress”.

I want to record my experiences and thoughts more in this new academic year because that is what the Lord is telling me to do. My sharing will be less edited and thought through, more like a personal diary. If you know me please pray for me! Thank you for your prayers and support. Xoxo

1 Corinthians 1:27 Amplified Bible (AMP)

27 But God has selected [for His purpose] the foolish things of the world to shame the wise [revealing their ignorance], and God has selected [for His purpose] the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong [revealing their frailty].
