During June-July 2020, our women’s prayer group prayed A LOT about the racial injustices, the healing and restoration of the black communities. We also repented and wept for the churches in America too. I was very open to hearing from the Lord about what I can personally do about this issue. I was all ears. I have learned to seek the Lord before moving forward in any new role, project, etc. I was ready and eager to sprint. I was just waiting for the Lord to give me the green light.
Then suddenly my focus turned away from racial justice and my eyes turned towards child and human trafficking…again. I vividly remember learning about sex tourism from Dateline Investigation about nine years ago. They showed in their undercover investigation, American tourists going to Thailand to have sex with young children. It was the most horrifying thing I’ve heard of. These children captured on video were so young, like kindergarteners. Moreover, the Holy Spirit continued to reveal to me the abundance of children and young people caught in sexual trafficking throughout the world and its big mega business. It was truly overwhelming information.
I was directed to do small things to bring awareness and donations. But I think I was shielded from doing more because my soul wasn’t able to handle the atrocities especially since my children were of similar ages. I was relieved. But I cannot forget what I’ve heard and learned. I always knew that one day I’ll be brought back to this warfare.
In the July month of intercession, a friend from Facebook invited me to join a group called “Be Loud For The Children”. It is a new public group bringing awareness of sexual trafficking of children. I hesitated joining but I saw from their newsfeeds that this evil is in the highest places of our country. Jeffrey Epstein was an American billionaire who was jailed for having sex with minors. He committed suicide in jail, waiting for his trial. News is coming forth from FBI investigation that he was running a high level brothel. We have been praying together that truth will be exposed and no one will be able to hide behind their wealth, power and fame.
Another shocker that I saw on this Facebook group, is a movement within psychology that is trying to humanize pedophiles! The professional psychologists are explaining that these adults are seeking love like everyone else but their desire is for the younger. They gave it a nice name too – “age fluid”. I saw video clips from conferences where professional women were humanizing the pedophiles and saying that they need our understanding and care. Most shocking thing was no one in this professional-looking audience was objecting. They were sitting calmly and listening to this evil garbage! A psychology student posted that this same thing was taught by her professor recently and she was disgusted. I am so glad that this group made her see how evil and wrong this teaching is.
I’m praying and seeking the Lord 🙏. I’ve always believed that I’ll be joining the army of people raising awareness for child trafficking and raise funds for organizations that rescue and raise them. You see, these children cannot go back home because they’ll be sold again to another brothel and pimp by their own family members. Perhaps now that my children are older I am being sent back to this warfare. I’ll waiting on the Lord for His direction and guidance.
Until then I do what I can, which is to pray A LOT and donate whatever I can. I really like A21 group. It’s started by Christine Caine, a Christian leader. I’ve blessed by her teachings and ministry too. Please visit her organization’s website. They do international marches in October to bring awareness. As you can imagine, most people turn away from these things because it’s too hard to process. I get it. But at least they can be aware enough to donate. Lots of love and funds are needed to raise the rescued children and teenagers. Perhaps it’s time for me to “be loud for the children” with them. I’m ready to sprint, once I get the green light from the Lord. My eyes are on you, Lord!
