Only in the past two months I became a supporter of President Trump. Oh boy, there is certainly a personal cost to supporting him in my state of NJ! I had to exercise all the fruit qualities listed in Galatians 5:22-23 to maintain my relationships. Sometimes I wonder if all this is a test from the Lord to reveal to His people their fruit maturity within…🤔

Since I never cared about politics, I simply supported political leaders and party that championed for women’s rights. This was my foremost concern after seeing and learning so much of how women are abused and oppressed in my home country of Korea and throughout the world. The women in my family’s generational line also have suffered much from their men.

However during this pandemic, our prayer groups naturally prayed a lot for our elected political leaders to make wise decisions and handle the overwhelming pressures. The eruption of the racial tensions also occurred, and so we didn’t take any breaks from praying for our elected leaders. It was around this time that I listened to my ministry friends who supported Trump. Additionally, many spiritual leaders that I’ve been very blessed by for many years supported Trump. I just did not understand why. But I thought it would be good to at least listen to what they had to say. Besides I had much time now. And so I kept my mouth shut and just listened. I was a hard wall to penetrate at first but little by little, I was able to see and understand the other side. It was about policies not personality.

My husband and I watch his TV preferences before bed, so nothing Christian. We watch late night talks with Conan O’Brien, Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, Saturday Night Live, variety of stand up comedians. They all do not like Trump. I have enjoyed their humor and jokes against Trump the last four years.

When I shared with my husband about a month ago that my views of Trump was changing, I did not expect him to get so mad. He even attacked my Christian faith and got very suspicious about who I’m listening to. It felt like the earlier days when I started to follow Jesus Christ. His hostility was intense and empowered by another spirit behind him. You see when a person is not saved, no matter how civil and reasonable they are, the enemy still controls their mindset. Therefore it’s important to remember this and not be surprised, but to pray and love them by the power of Jesus Christ. Nevertheless, I was very surprised.

By the grace of God, we made it through this tumultuous and very tense period in our relationship. I’ll spare you the details because I don’t want to rehash the memories anyway. In a way I was happy that Biden was named a projected winner so my husband’s anger was abated. He really hates Trump. There is a supernatural and demonic power behind this hate, not just in him but in many nonbelievers and sadly, believers too.

As for my voting, I really prayed about it. And because of my home situation I had peace about abstaining my vote for the President. I voted but I left the presidential candidate blank. Holy Spirit informed me that NJ will go to Biden and my vote won’t matter much. I think NJ supported Biden by nearly 70%. Holy Spirit cared about my relationship with my husband and my hardship if I voted for Trump.

As I hear on the news that President Trump is asking for a recount of the battleground states, I know now that he’s legally entitled to these recounts. Wall Street Journal ran a story explaining this. Only God knows what the outcome of these recounts will be. All I know is that if there is a chance the recounts change the President-elect due to voter fraud being real, then there will be mayhem in our country because there is a supernatural demonic power behind this hate for Trump. If this upheaval does occur then believers will be greatly tested again. Oh boy. Lord, please help us.

As for what policy trumps my personal preference. It is no longer foremost women’s rights (which is still very important to me) but the rights of the unborn children. God really, really wants them to be born. I still haven’t shed one tear for these unborn children but all I know is that God sees abortion as murder and a child sacrifice to Satan. Their blood is filling up our land with God’s judgement and growing demonic powers. Yes demons can feed on human blood. I’ve read about these testimonies from books and news from India and African nations. Apparently the blood drops magically disappear in midair because something is drinking it! Children are kept alive for their blood sacrifice and eventually they do die. Then another child in the family is sacrificed to appease the demonic gods. It’s very real! (I know it’s very hard to understand how any parent can sacrifice one child but after reading some books about child sexual trafficking, one author noted that they see their children like livestock with two legs. With many children to feed, one gets sold to a brothel for the family’s survival.)

Going back to our USA, after a woman has an easy abortion to abstain from the responsibilities of parenthood, many go back to sexual promiscuity to lessen their pain. Sexual transmitted diseases are at its highest and rising according to CDC reports from 2018. The medical costs and psychological problems that arise from these trauma are very high on families and society. It’s a very sad situation and vicious cycle of abortion and sexual promiscuity in our country.

I also think Trump and his administration are not allowed to totally ban abortion in our country. Rather it’ll make it harder and not so easy to get at the local Planned Parenthood so the women have time to reconsider, pray, seek God and look at alternatives for their child. One of my pro-life ministry friend shared with me that Planned Parenthood was initially created by a white woman who was very racist and wanted to only control the black population. Also Planned Parenthood makes good money from abortions not from counseling on alternatives. I’m a newbie with all this information and I did not want to read the information that she was sending me last year. I’ll ask her to send me the information again so I can link it here later. My pro-life friend also told me that VP-elect Kamala Harris is extremely pro-choice and so she’ll greatly influence Biden’s decision on this matter. Did you know NY’s Governor Cuomo approved abortion even up to full term? Yes he did, right before Covid came to NY.

If President Trump miraculously becomes our next president due to voting recounts then I will know that God has done the impossible. Like I said before, there will be mayhem in our country if this happens since there is a supernatural hate towards Trump. Believers will be tested yet again in our relationships and on our Galatians 5 fruit maturity. Oh Lord Jesus, help us come what may. 🙏😓🤦‍♀️😱
