I received a used, small white car from my parents to use in my junior year in college. It was a good car but the body was a like plastic because I can literally press it inward when I pressed the body. I remember thinking that it won’t hold very well in any road accident. Lol.

I started to regularly attend a local church associated with the college ministry, BASIC that was in our campus. It was going to be great to drive to weekly Sunday services and small group meetings on Tuesday nights at one of the leaders’ home without relying on other students.

Through my new student friends, I discovered a Christian bookstore off campus. We visited there together and I decided to be brave and get a car bumper sticker that looked like this photo and I happily put it on my rear bumper. I was in love with Jesus.

Binghamton University in upstate NY was about a 4 hours-drive from my home in Queens, NY. Usually, we take along friends and fellow students to drive back and forth to share the gas and toll costs, and for company. Since many students were from the NYC areas, it was easy to find other students for the drive.

I don’t know why but one time I was driving alone back to Binghamton after a school break. Perhaps I wanted to get to school earlier for work in my professor’s lab. I just received an excellent scholarship to work there and I got good hourly pay.

Back then in early 1990s, no regular folks had cell phones. Some had beepers but I didn’t have one. We also didn’t have the internet to check the weather forecasts. If you missed it on nightly news, then you had no idea.

The first couple of hours of my drive up to Binghamton was uneventful and peaceful. I was probably listening to a cassette tape of worship songs by the Maranatha group. Then suddenly heavy snow started to fall. It was getting very hard to see and the heavy snow was quickly accumulating on the highway. I was so afraid and crying out to Jesus for help. I drove very slowly especially as I saw cars in front of me sliding and I even passed few cars that fell into ditches off the road. As much as I wanted to help them I knew that if I pulled over my car with its small tires, I would be stuck myself. I’ve never seen so much snow falling down so heavily and accumulating very quickly!

As I was carefully and fearfully driving, I remembered my new car bumper sticker. And somehow this thought brought me great peace and comfort. My car is marked with the name of Jesus and so I knew that I’ll be okay. I don’t know how many hours it took for me to finally get to Binghamton but my car made it in one piece. I was very shaken by the ordeal. I didn’t tell my parents about the great difficulty to not worry them. And besides, Jesus brought me safely to my destination.

We just had a winter storm that passed our NJ area this week. Fortunately, it was not too bad with maybe 6-9 inches of snow. Thank you Jesus! However, Binghamton got 40 inches of snow. They were mentioned in the internet news. As I read this headline, the Holy Spirit brought this drive ordeal to my memory and to remember Jesus’ faithfulness.

Three times this week, I have heard of the difficult and violent times that will come to USA immediately after the election fiasco and fraud are exposed and corrected. However without this correction, future USA elections will always be controlled by the corrupt, powerful, political elites with the assistance of the Chinese Communist Party. USA will never be the same but go straight away to socialism, Marxism and lastly communism. A few months of upheaval to close this evil door permanently into USA is a good battle worth fighting for.

A good ministry friend who is more advanced in the prophetic word and healing miracles shared this video with me yesterday. Because her character is marked foremost by love and grace, I really trust whatever she shares with me. She said these leaders are like “the generals” of the prophetic ministry. Therefore I listened to the end and now I have to pray and ponder about this information. Holy Spirit, I know you are giving me a heads up. Please help me to be firm in my faith understanding the times, and to be very wise in my actions and strategic in intercessory prayers. We can buffer the violent activities created by the enemy with our corporate prayers.

Whenever I’m afraid I’ll remember this bumper sticker and have peace that because I’m marked with your name, myself and my family passengers will be okay and arrive safely to our destination. (By the way, I never had any problems or accidents with this white car. Overtime the body paint was chipping off due to the harsh winters at Binghamton. I patched it up with white car paint all over. Lol.)
