Book of Revelation

In the last few weeks, I have been binge-listening to the Bible study on the book of Revelation by Cornerstone Chapel. I have read this book many times when the Bible reading plan fell upon it. I rarely understood what I was reading and overwhelmed by the scary imageries. Therefore I knew that one day I would need to do a Bible study on the book of Revelation. But I couldn’t join the study small group at my church because they meet on weeknights, nor felt the urgency to…until recently.

One mid-month day of December, two different friends texted me a teaching series on the book of Revelation. Since our church bible reading plan was following the chronological order, I knew that the book of Revelation was coming up soon. This time I felt the urgency to understand this apocalyptic book. After reviewing both teaching series I decided to listen to the Cornerstone study.

There are 22 bible study messages in 2020. Their pastor just resumed again because he paused the study during Christmas time. We are now at chapter 18 on the book of Revelation.

I am so surprised how near the end we are of the Church Era. Please listen to this study series so that you will have understanding and discernment of the times that we are living in. My big takeaway is how much deception there is in the end times. Satan comes like an angel of light and so it’ll be very easy to get deceived plus the scriptures warn us throughout the Bible. From what I’ve seen with ladies who used to be in my prayer groups and now are following strange ways of angels and mystical experiences; these women generally have very little knowledge of the Bible and they rarely want to know beyond spiritual “milk” food. They come to prayer meetings for their desperate situations but after it’s resolved or if they get offended, they leave us. After making few attempts to reach them, I let them go. Or sometimes they have one desperate situation after another; I think this is just God’s mercy so that they don’t wander away from Him and into deception since they are not studious about studying the Bible. Anyway, I’m digressing.

Revelation 1:3 (NIV) – Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.

5/14/2021 – I came across this hour message by Israeli pastor Amir Tsarfati on the book of Revelation. He summarized this book so well in only one hour! Since I studied this book for five months during the pandemic isolation with various teachers, I can say with confidence that he teaches accurately. Holy Spirit, I could’ve gotten all this information in only one hour instead of my countless hours! 🤨😂 https://youtu.be/I3GuG1dYARM
