Yesterday I watched a documentary about Charles Spurgeon that a friend recommended. I have always been very impressed and blessed by his deep writings about God. Since photos of him on the internet was of his older version, I made assumptions about him. Boy was I wrong.
I was blown away by his young age when he started his ministry. He was only a teenager! He didn’t even have a formal seminary education. I think his story made an impact on me because I’ve been wondering about the young millennial pastors and prophets that I’m encountering more.
After watching Charles Spurgeon’s documentary, I decided to finally give this young preacher a chance. I’d see his name come up more lately but his yelling style and intensity were too much for me. Plus the topic of deliverance that he focuses on is already intense and so I thought I would not be able to handle his physical yelling too. I like pastor Derek Prince’s calm style of sharing this intense topic.
I finally listened to Isaiah Saldivir yesterday. He has a powerful testimony and I believe his teachings are accurate. They are consistent with Derek Prince’s teachings about demonic oppression, need for deliverance and today’s church situation. I agree with Derek Prince and Isaiah Saldivir’s assessment of the church situation in the USA. We are on life support.
In Isaiah Saldivir’s testimony, his pastor uncle was a good solid support for him when he was powerfully touched by the Holy Spirit at a church alter call. Without his uncle, I think Isaiah Saldivir could’ve easily gone awry. As I was praying about him this morning and asking the Lord if he is safe source to listen to; I saw a training wheel on a bicycle. I believe that as God unleashes His power upon the young people in the last days, he wants older people like me to be training wheels for them until they are ready to take off on their own.
Today’s theologians and biblical scholars tell us that Jesus’ 12 disciples were teenagers when they were following Jesus. With John being the youngest, perhaps age 14. Peter probably the oldest one was still in his early 20s. Charles Spurgeon started his ministry career at age 17.
Thank you Lord for a greater clarity on my assignment in your last day’s army. I’ll be a good, solid training wheels for a young person that you send my way and release them once training is done and pray for them continually too. 🙏

Isaiah 43:18-21 (NIV) 18 “Forget the former things;
do not dwell on the past.
19 See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland.
20 The wild animals honor me,
the jackals and the owls,
because I provide water in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland,
to give drink to my people, my chosen,
21 the people I formed for myself
that they may proclaim my praise.
