Support Pillar

This summer and fall, I’ve been enjoying and blessed by visiting area churches. I also formed relationships with believers in different churches that I would not have met if I stayed only at PAC. As the grave situation with Alex has been settled, I have been praying now about whether to go back to PAC or become rooted elsewhere.

Couple of weeks ago I went back to PAC and observed from the top balcony. During worship I heard from the Holy Spirit and he gently invited me to come and be a supporting pillar for PAC. His invitation reminded me of Psalm 144.

Yesterday I made plans to speak with the community group pastor of PAC. In the morning, out on my errands I ran into PAC’s lead pastor! I have never ran into him before. It was very nice to catch up with both pastors in one day. 🙂

I am praying for God’s guidance on where to be placed. I am reminded that Jesus came to serve, not to be served. Lord, I have confidence in you leading me and over the years I see that I can hear you pretty well too. Thank you for leading me on this big decision about the local church, and where I am to serve and be the most effective blessing for your people.
