I continue to hear more and more young people in our area, who are transitioning and have transitioned to the opposite gender from their birth. I already know three families whose teenagers are transitioning and taking hormone therapy. One family is from a Christian background with a grandfather who is a pastor. Therefore, it’s a matter of time before someone comes to me with these questions in my ministry work.
Recently, a friend shared this message and testimony with me. I really appreciated listening to this testimony and message. I heard it twice so I can glean more advice. Please listen to her story and her suggestions. The Q and A had more information. You don’t have to agree with her but you should at least listen and ponder what she shared about her encounter with Jesus Christ as a former LGBTQ member. https://youtube.com/watch?v=SH4BPSUDOOc&feature=share
This blog post gave a similar message of sharing truth with grace, by using gardening as an example. Doing it well takes so much patience, hard-work, dedication and TLC. Are you available and willing to help with God’s gardening work? https://sheiladougal.com/2021/11/16/learning-to-garden-a-repentance-from-laziness/
God bless you abundantly with His peace and love as you grow in your godly wisdom and perseverance!
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NKJV)4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
