Forgiving Howard

Dear Lord Jesus, please forgive me for harboring unforgiveness and bitterness in my heart against Howard. I see deep within myself that I blame him for waiting too long so we are helpless to help Alex now that’s she’s 18. What was in my heart came out last night during our conversation and I am so sorry. I’m not sure how to cleanse my heart; but I know that confession to You is the first step. You commandment is very clear about forgiveness and I desire to do your will. I ask you to help me Jesus because forgiving is a supernatural ability. 🙏

Thank you for Billy Graham’s book that I brought to our vacation trip. Reading his chapter about forgiving others was the good advice that I needed to read when you woke me up at 1am to address my dark heart condition.

Lord Jesus, however hard and long the recovery may be for Alex to be set free from the eating disorder; I will no longer receive the messages from the enemy accusing and blaming Howard. I ask you to help me forgive Howard completely and totally so that it’s not a struggle.

Thank you Jesus for your blood that cleanses me, your prayers for me and your encouragement. I release it all to you. 👐 Help me Lord Jesus to forgive Howard completely. All to Jesus I surrender – https://youtu.be/7x2IpLSfqp8

Psalm 51 – 10 Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me from your presence
or take your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation
and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. 13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways,
so that sinners will turn back to you.
14 Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God,
you who are God my Savior,
and my tongue will sing of your righteousness.
15 Open my lips, Lord,
and my mouth will declare your praise.
16 You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it; you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.
17 My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart
you, God, will not despise.

Today is our last full day in Mexico. If we pass the Covid test this morning then we’ll be able to board the plane to go back home to USA tomorrow. I feel led to leave Billy Graham’s book here at their reading area by the beach. There are few books there for the guests. Holy Spirit, please make sure this book goes to the right person. 🙏

Yay 😀 our Covid tests came back negative and so we’ll be going back home tomorrow!

Good devotional this morning – WISDOM FROM OSWALD CHAMBERS
We are not fundamentally free; external circumstances are not in our hands, they are in God’s hands, the one thing in which we are free is in our personal relationship to God. We are not responsible for the circumstances we are in, but we are responsible for the way we allow those circumstances to affect us; we can either allow them to get on top of us, or we can allow them to transform us into what God wants us to be.
