If your church does not teach on the study of Eschatology, which is a fancy word for the study of “end-times biblical prophecies and events”, then it is your responsibility to study the book of Revelation on your own. There are so many bible theologians, professors, ministries and pastors who share their knowledge for free or for nominal fees to laypeople.

I understand your hesitation since the book of Revelation is overwhelming but like I shared before, majority of the book is about the seven years of the Great Tribulation.  Hopefully, the popular consensus by bible scholars will be correct in that the believers of Jesus Christ will be taken up to heaven before the Great Tribulation begins, this event is called the rapture.  Whatever your conclusion will be after your studies: Pre-Trib, Mid-Trib or Post-Trib – let’s just be taken up in the rapture when Jesus comes back for his church. 

I noticed that the messianic Jewish teacher, Amir Tsafarti wrote a new book on the book of Revelation. I’ve studied his teachings and he is very knowledgeable and sharp. I read his previous book “The Last Hour” so I’d imagine this one will be even more interesting and current. As big world and weather events keep on happening in greater rapidity, I can’t help but think about the birth pangs coming more frequently that Jesus and Apostle Paul talked about regarding the end times (Matthew 24 and 1 Thessalonians 5).  It’s been nine years since my bible study on the book of Daniel, which spoke about end time events too.  I never thought these things will be even near my lifetime.  Right now, I am not sure anymore.  Please do your study of Eschatology.  Please skip the unfruitful Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, etc.  God gave us the ability to read, think, study with resources and time to acquire understanding from His gifts to the church body – our pastors, teachers/theologians, evangelists etc. Please utilize your opportunities so you will not become like the unprepared bridesmaids (Matthew 25).

Please be encouraged by these Christian reports from Ukraine 🇺🇦 and please do not grow weary in your prayers about the war in Ukraine. Join prayer group meetings if you are becoming weary and discouraged. Just listen in and agree with others that are interceding. Your agreement will be counted in as a prayer vote in the throne room of God. Just don’t isolate yourself and give up asking in prayer.
