MIP prayer theme: God is Holy + God’s Guidance using book of Numbers + Prayer request for Ruth + Ministries of Jesus + Jewishness of Jesus

Hello! I shared these resources with my prayer group ladies recently if you’d like to check them out. I see from the stats in WordPress that there are viewers from all over the world. I’m sorry that I can’t share my identity with you but perhaps one day I will. Thank you for visiting my blog site. I hope you will be blessed and encouraged. God bless you abundantly!

1. Below is the MIP prayer theme for this Wednesday, 5/18 at 1pm – God is Holy.

This attribute of God isn’t preached much today but I really think it’s a tragedy. Because many times, it’s meditating and knowing this attribute of God that keeps me from sinning gravely, repenting regularly and most importantly, not turning back in following Jesus Christ; or giving up and being MIA (missing in action).

2. I heard this message twice. It’s an excellent teaching to save and hear again and again, especially since we must make decisions all our lives. I took some notes. Please hear Dr. RT Kendall teach on God’s guidance for you using the book of Numbers, and also learn some Old Testament bible characters and their stories.

P – Providential – does door open easily?

E – Enemy – what do you think the devil wants you to do? And then do the opposite.

A – Authority – what does the Bible say?

C – Confidence – does it increase or decrease?

E – Ease – what do you feel in your heart? Holy Spirit will never lead you to go against your conscience.

3. This short devotional made me smile with understanding since it’s so true. I study the Bible daily and diligently, so that in an official God-test, I can pass my exams. Plus it helps me to recognize and not bite into satan’s obvious baits of pleasure. There’s always a nasty hook 🪝underneath that good looking bait! Beware and be warned. https://www.worldchallenge.org/devotion/after-god-says-

4. This devotional testimony helped me recently when I encountered a mom whose daughter passed away from a mental illness (eating disorder). The mom stopped praying to God after her daughter passed away. She told me that she prayed and prayed for her daughter to be healed. She has so much pain and confusion about God. I’ve been praying for her. Her name is Ruth if you can pray with me. Thank you for caring and praying. I sent her the MIP podcast series on hurting moms needing hope. I really hope and pray that she listens to them. 🙏 http://www.cbn.com/spirituallife/devotions/meeuwsen-trust-his-heart.aspx

5. I think you’ll find this ministry series by Gateway church very interesting. I serve God with some big gaping wounds. I’d love to be healed and mended completely, just not sure how. Currently I just stay away from certain areas of ministry, knowing about my Achilles weakness. I used to be a hardcore feminist. Without complete healing, I will only cause great amount of damage and even unknowingly be used by Satan, and so I stay away…for now until Jesus sets me free. https://gatewaypeople.com/en/series/the-ministries-of-jesus

6. This is a good article from a messianic ministry. If you are surrounded by Jewish people like me, you’ll appreciate learning this history and how Jesus’ Jewishness became erased in the church.

Have a wonderful blessed week! I know I shared a lot. Happy studying!
