I believe it’ll be our seventh year praying together for our children and their schools through MIP. Praying regularly is super important and this is why I like being part of MIP. They keep us accountable and their emphasis on weekly prayers keep us disciplined. No matter how busy we get this is one ministry work that is not put aside. My co-leader, Yadi has a corporate full-time too. Why? Because a big community group is at stake. We are the buffers against the evil principalities that want our youth and our prayers are the shields around the schools that our children/grandchildren attend. I’ve prayed plenty for my children and their schools by myself, but I am telling you the truth that praying alone can only fight back a few and win smaller victories. Fighting together fights back thousands upon thousands. Currently our MIP members represent and therefore regularly cover several towns and schools in our area. Since many of our members’ children have moved onto colleges, now we cover even more schools. Since our faith muscles have grown over the years praying together for our local schools, I believe our prayers can cover these faraway colleges where our members’ children attend. This quote by the late President Ronald Reagan caught my eye. How accurate. I know since I gave up on God twice!!

I hope and pray that as I share these information and resources, it will give you an urgency to pray and fast for our children and grandchildren. Before I was led by the Holy Spirit to start the prayer groups in 2016 at church, I didn’t know how bad the situation was. I’ve been praying with great urgency and much tears ever since. I think my heart will continue to ache and hurt until I see a revival in our midst and our country. I believe this heart ache is from the Lord and so I use my emotions to help me in intercession. There are times when I am led to pray with fasting.

Recently my family visited southern Italy where it is very hilly and mountainous. In a town tour, I saw a small house located far and high away from the main town area. I asked our tour guide about this isolated tiny house. She said it was a watchtower for back-in-the-day when you had to watch for the enemy’s attacks.

Because of my family’s situation, I am more isolated than other believers from the main church community. I would love to participate much more with believers and their activities. But I see now that my isolation from the faith community has caused me to study, reflect and pray a lot more in the last 12 years. I hope and pray that my observations from the watchtower will help you in your ministry work in the church centers. God bless you abundantly. Above is the photo of the tiny watchtower. My family is finally back home from Italy! Praise the Lord that our return flights back went smoothly. With so many airline cancellations and mayhem, it is a concern for all travelers. It feels so, so good to be home. Home Sweet Home.
