Recently my family visited southern Italy where it is very hilly and mountainous. In a town tour, I saw a small house located far and high away from the main town area. I asked our tour guide about this isolated tiny house. She said it was a watchtower for back-in-the-day when you had to watch for the enemy’s attacks.
Because of my family’s situation, I am more isolated than other believers from the main church community. I would love to participate much more with believers and their activities. But I see now that my isolation from the faith community has caused me to study, reflect and pray a lot more in the last 12 years. I hope and pray that my observations from the watchtower will help you in your ministry work in the church centers. God bless you abundantly. Above is the photo of the tiny watchtower. It was much higher up than how the picture came out.
This message is something that I shared with my prayer group ladies.
Hello ladies! I have been reminded lately of my studies on the book of Revelation. I feel led to share some key things with you again. I pray that these resources help you to stay focused and to keep following Jesus Christ. With love and prayers from your “librarian”.
During the pandemic lockdown I did a thorough study on the book of Revelation. I heard from six different teachers on this book just so I can be certain there’s a consensus. I learned from Derek Prince, Amir Tsarfati, Gary Hamrick, Greg Laurie, Stephen Armstrong and a seminary professor whose name I don’t remember right now. All agree that we are living in the last minutes of the last days. TSC pastors, late David Wilkerson and Carter Colon have been warning about this final hour of human history from the pulpit too. Billy Graham’s classic evangelistic sermons always preach this same message too.
I found this messianic teacher, Christine Darg a few months ago and I try to listen to her as much as I can now. She did a really great job of recapping the “8 Signs of the Lord’s Imminent Returning”. Her message on “God’s Ultimate Revival” was also an excellent recap of past revivals and precursors for revival. Please give her a listen. I think you’ll appreciate her biblical knowledge, encouragements and her calming way of warning us too. https://jerusalemchannel.tv/categories/bible-prophecy/
I also highly encourage you to listen to this message by Derek Prince preaching from Singapore 🇸🇬. It is about the end times biblical prophecies. His high intelligence has been used by God to bless the church with easier-to-digest knowledge on very difficult subject matters. I have heard this one message three times already. If you want to listen to all of his teachings about the end times biblical prophecies or another subject matter, then please visit his ministry website.
FYI – Before Derek Prince became a born-again believer, he was a young professor of philosophy at a top university in England 🏴. Right before being called to serve the British Empire in WWII, he “accidentally” attended a Pentecostal church meeting. Prior to his conversion, he was an Anglican Church member by tradition. He rarely attended church or regarded the bible as a word of God. Anyway, he was a very intelligent person. I am still astonished that this very structured, stoic, British gentleman of high standing in society, affiliated himself with the Pentecostal church community especially during times when most churches looked down or shunned away from the Pentecostals. Well, Derek Prince made the right decision since his sound biblical teachings on the supernatural are still blessing and equipping the church today. I also love hearing his war stories and ministry stories in his sermons. They are all quite intense.
This NYC pastor shared that our culture is increasing their obsession with occultism and mysticism. I think it’s wise to learn how to handle these issues since it has infiltrated the church community too. Remember, my mom’s former fortune teller was a regular church attendee and this is how she justified herself about consulting with her fortune teller. Derek Prince has lots of teachings and testimonies about handling these issues and dilemmas in the church. If I was a church leader or pastor, I’d cram his teachings while things are quiet. Since I am a community group leader at PAC, I have and still do learn from Derek Prince ministry frequently. It is the only way to explain some incidents. Please pray for your church leaders and pastors. I think as occultism and mysticism increase more and more; bizarre, supernatural things will come up more frequently in homes, churches, schools and communities.
This morning, I was really comforted by this devotional about God’s safety net. As I am working on God’s kingdom, serving God as best as possible and trying really hard not be afraid of the unknown and making mistakes; this safety net analogy really comforted me. Please be kind when I make mistakes or fall short; you can also file a complaint with the boss, Jesus Christ. 🙂
By the way, if you also don’t process making mistakes well, I found this great sheet for kids that I like to remind myself. If I find something that is also scripturally-based, I will share it with you.
