Great Tribulation and Jesus’ Second Coming + History of the Ouija board + Spiritual Warfare + Discerning the Voice of God + Secret to Dying Well

Here are some resources and stories that I shared recently with my prayer group ladies. I hope they are helpful to you too. God bless you abundantly!

1. It seems that more mega-churches in the USA are teaching about biblical end-times prophecies. If your church does not teach this from the pulpit then you have to learn it yourself with the many resources and teachers that are available.

I just heard a very good message about the “Great Tribulation and Jesus’ Second Coming” from this mega-church in Texas. Their lead pastor, Dr. Jim Evans is known for his ministry work in marriage restoration. I‘ve never heard him talk about end-time prophecies but his invited guest speaker talked about it recently. It was very good especially if you are interested from a military point of view. If you want to study more from a military point of view, then please study the book of Revelation with Stephen Armstrong. He’s ex-military and so he spent a great deal of time talking about the book of Revelation from a military standpoint. (It bored me a lot since I’m not interested but I managed to push through and finish his teachings. Stephen Armstrong’s study is a huge commitment but well worth doing. Military stuff comes up a lot mid-way of the study. I think I was half listening.) You can get his teachings on his ministry website- https://versebyverseministry.org/bible-studies/revelation-2020)

This message is more of a panoramic view captured in an hour.  Please listen to this message:

2.  I’ve warned you about the ouija board.  Please don’t mess around with this popular board game, and please warn your children and grandchildren about it too.  If somehow they don’t take your warnings and play this game at a party or with friends, then you will have to learn about spiritual warfare for their sake.

3.  Many churches do not acknowledge Satan and his devils but their tactics have to be understood by God’s people so we have a chance to win when we are attacked.  One reason why I left the church in my mid-20s was so I can save my sanity.  I felt like there was a war going on against me but I had no idea how to fight back.  I felt the only way I can survive is by completely shutting off anything that is spiritual and live life like an atheist.  Therefore, coming back to God and his church community was a very dangerous decision for me.  I am so thankful that another mega-church in the USA is sharing from the pulpit some basic things in their recent Q and A. Please listen to this message:

4.  I really like this young evangelist and his teachings.  This message is about discerning the voice of God.  It is a good reminder for the mature believers, and perhaps for you it’s new information. Please listen to this message to learn the basics about discerning God’s voice.  As the days are becoming more like the days of Noah, Christians need to discern better than ever before.

5.  Since death is more frequently reported these days, I have been thinking a lot more about the after life.  This article written by a hospital doctor who has been with many patients who passed away, is a comforting news for believers.  If you are afraid of death or how you will pass away then pray about it now.  Submit your request to God.  Stormie Omartian’s dad had very low tolerance for pain and so he’d prayed regularly that he would pass away without pain.  He submitted his request to His Father God and more frequently as he got older.  Stormie OMartian wrote that he died in his sleep in his bed at home. Prior to this he never had any major medical problems and rarely visited doctors.  God answered his specific request to pass away without pain and fuss.  After reading his story I’ve been praying the same for myself too since I also have little tolerance for pain.
