Mom’s In Prayer + Victory in Jesus + Holding Onto God

Despite my added responsibilities and worries, I sleep like Snoopy at the end of my day. Praise the Lord! 🙂

I believe it’ll be our seventh year praying together for our children and their schools through MIP. Praying regularly is super important and this is why I like being part of MIP. They keep us accountable and their emphasis on weekly prayers keep us disciplined. No matter how busy we get this is one ministry work that is not put aside. My co-leader, Yadi has a corporate full-time too. Why? Because a big community group is at stake. We are the buffers against the evil principalities that want our youth and our prayers are the shields around the schools that our children/grandchildren attend. I’ve prayed plenty for my children and their schools by myself, but I am telling you the truth that praying alone can only fight back a few and win smaller victories. Fighting together fights back thousands upon thousands. Currently our MIP members represent and therefore regularly cover several towns and schools in our area. Since many of our members’ children have moved onto colleges, now we cover even more schools. Since our faith muscles have grown over the years praying together for our local schools, I believe our prayers can cover these faraway colleges where our members’ children attend. See their website and please join or start your own local MIP group – https://momsinprayer.org/

Urgent Prayer Need in Robbinsville schools:

In the past few weeks, the Holy Spirit has been bringing attention to me about Robbinsville school district. If you have been at PAC for many years, then you know that Steve M and his family were members at PAC and that he was a superintendent at Robbinsville school district until he passed away from a terrible accident. His presence and prayers of many who loved and supported him kept the shield around the Robbinsville school district. I don’t think another group of dedicated believers filled this void after his passing, because soon after their high school has been infiltrated with hardcore drugs. I have only learned about this recently from their residents. I will pray that a mom in Robbinsville will rise up and start their own MIP group. Please pray 🙏 for this town too. Thank you.

Victory in Jesus:

This is an article by a therapist who was treating the Batman mass shooter before his heinous murder. He was an accomplished university student who sought help about the terrible voices in his head. If such an individual comes to our church community for help, are we prepared? Do we know what to do? Without preparation, we are going to be like a “deer-in-the-headlights”. https://katiecouric.com/health/mental-health/aurora-mass-shooter-therapist-book/

In my opinion from studying the gospels of Jesus Christ (the first four books of the New Testament), this young man was demon-possessed.  Please listen to this sermon message.  This pastor shared a story about another pastor’s teen daughter who went to a church retreat and a demon manifested from her, a pastor’s kid.  Thank God that her pastor dad was there.  What he did once he saw his daughter manifesting a demon was from the Holy Spirit.  Please listen to this message so that at least if this happens in your church then you will not be like a “deer-in-the-headlights”.  Just like first responders prepare themselves with CPR and first aid classes, we also need to know the basics in deliverance work.  Isn’t that what a church supposed to be – a spiritual hospital for the oppressed, possessed and the sick?  When these spiritually bound people come into our churches for help, do we have a Holy Spirit-inspired plan in place?  If not, they will leave and I am certain that they will become even more worse off to themselves and our society.  Jesus talked about this principal in his teachings.

Please listen to this sermon for the testimony and encouragement about victory in Jesus.  –  http://sermons.tsc.nyc/victory-in-jesus/

“When an evil spirit leaves a person, it goes into the desert, seeking rest but finding none. Then it says, ‘I will return to the person I came from.’ So it returns and finds its former home empty, swept, and in order. Then the spirit finds seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they all enter the person and live there. And so that person is worse off than before. That will be the experience of this evil generation.”  – Jesus – documented in Matthew 12:43-45 (NLT)

(I bolded the word “empty”.  In my opinion, if the person who receives deliverance or healing is not filled up continually with the word of God, the Bible and with regular fellowship; then that person will become worse off than before.  So, it is imperative that the church community surrounds this newly delivered or healed person until they come to a place of maturity.  This teenager was very fortunate that her dad is a pastor.  I’m sure she received the best attention and care after her deliverance from her pastor dad and his church.  And so, her story ends well and in victory.)

Holding Onto God:

Perhaps you are in a place where you can’t even pray for yourself, let alone anyone coming to church for help. Perhaps you are feeling defeated and even contemplating on giving up on your faith, leaving Jesus and his church. I’ve been there…I have walked away not once but twice! It’s the most depressing and lowest place to be in. Please don’t give up on God. Take whatever life line He gives you too. Don’t turn your back on God. We need all hands-on deck in these last days before Jesus’ return. Do not give up. This message by an Ukrainian pastor at TSC was so, so good. Please listen to this message. I know if I had such a pastor speaking these truths and words of life to me as a teenager and as a young adult then I’m certain I would not have given up on God. I really wanted to follow Jesus. Somehow as a young person, I knew that earthly pleasures and relationships are temporary and won’t fulfill me. I think this is why I am good at obedience to God even when my heart isn’t in it – however I am always watching out for the “older brother’s heart” from Jesus’ prodigal story. It develops quickly if left untreated. Please give this pastor a listen if you are tempted to give up on your faith in God. Please reach out to others for prayers too. – http://sermons.tsc.nyc/holding-onto-god/

That is my wrap up. 🙂 With love and prayers from your librarian.
