Book of Ezekiel + Parable of the Wise and Foolish Virgins + Dr. Francis Myles on Book of Job

I have been listening to the message series on the Book of Ezekiel from Cornerstone Chapel and I just finished it all yesterday in my day of house cleaning. During the pandemic lockdown, the Holy Spirit led me to do a bible study on the Book of Revelation. Since I wanted to make sure that the pastors that I was learning from were not only from one source; I learned from five different pastor-teachers who taught this book. Other than minor differences in what they emphasized and future timeline thoughts, I thought they were very consistent in their teachings. One of the teachers that I learned from was Pastor Gary of Cornerstone Chapel.

Yesterday as I was finishing up his teachings on the Book of Ezekiel, I didn’t realize that the last chapters of Book of Ezekiel were about the end times and also about the future reign of Jesus Christ.  I have read this book few times just to follow a bible reading plan but honestly many, many, many things simply went over my head (just like college physics will go over the mind of an elementary student).

Please take time to listen to these three messages on the last ten chapters of the Book of Ezekiel.  It’ll give you a bird’s eye view of the past, present and future events to come.  It will also reinforce your faith as you remain faithful to an all-powerful and all-knowing God.

I came across a catchy phrase once that said something like this – “Remember, Jesus is coming back! However, we are not in the planning committee. We are in the welcoming committee.” How true. God is the planner on when, how, who, what etc. We are not. As Jesus taught us in the parable of the foolish and wise virgins, it is clear to me that we are in the welcoming committee. Please read this parable again in variety of translations to receive wisdom on how to be the wise ones. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=matthew+25&version=NKJV

In case you want a good video of a bird’s eye view on any books of the Bible before you delve into a study, I really like Bible Project. Once I discovered them I’ve been using them before I delve into a study. https://bibleproject.com/

One of the mysteries on the book of Job is why Satan is allowed into heaven to accuse Job in God’s presence. I thought this pastor’s revelation was really incredible. Please listen to him with an open mind. Also his supernatural experience he shared in this interview was really out of this world too! I listened it twice mainly to receive his prayers for me twice. https://sidroth.org/television/tv-archives/dr-francis-myles-5/?src=hp-slider

Today’s bible verse of the day from Saddleback church is this and I thought it was very fitting to what I’m sharing with you today.

Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. – John 14:1-3 (NKJV)
