This morning I woke up with a thought and I’m jotting it down before I forget. Basically it’s a thought that going uphill towards heaven is hard work. While going downhill towards hell is easy. Why did I wake up with this thought from the Holy Spirit? Because I believe it’s from this sharing that I wrote to my prayer group ladies yesterday. Thank you Lord Jesus for this wisdom. 🙏
Hello ladies! I hope you are all doing well. Here are resources to help you keep disciplined – spiritually and mentally. A disciplined mind will give you a sound mind. It’s very important to discipline your mind with God’s word in the Bible and good biblical teachings. I don’t know about you but I find this world getting crazier and stormier, and so I need more discipline to keep my mind sound.
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control]. – 2 Timothy 1:7 (AMP)
Sound of Freedom film was released on July 4th and it beat big budget movie, Indiana Jones! Even if you can’t watch the film because the topic of child sexual trafficking is too horrific and evil; you can hear this interview and stories to pray more strategically and passionately. Please pray for their protection because those who manage this evil enterprise are powerful and vengeful people and may target their families now. Our prayers will guard them and their families as they continue their good works in the frontlines. And as more money and publicity come pouring into their charity, please pray for wisdom and guidance from God for their organization to thrive and grow in integrity, humility and love. This interview is hosted by the famous motivational speaker Tony Robbins. I like this interview because they also share how the rescued children are taken care of long-term. You understand the need for much money, prayers and love to rehabilitate the rescued children. I also was touched and inspired by Tony Robbins’ courage, compassion and incredible generosity too.

I remember reading an interview by someone who was in the frontline in rescuing children; she said that she eventually understood that the parents who were selling their children for sex basically saw their children as “cattle with two legs”. That helped me to understand how a parent could get to this level of depravity and even to pray better for these parents.
Many good people who get involved with human trafficking charities and law enforcement work become mentally traumatized and sometimes even ruin their lives and families. Please pray for those who are involved. Pray for their protection, and safety for their family members too. Sometimes their own children are in danger because of their work. Personally I don’t know how anyone can do this work without the help of the Holy Spirit and God’s word renewing and healing their minds on a daily basis. After I read or hear these horrific stories, I have to spend a lot of time renewing my mind so I don’t get dark in my thoughts.

John Bevere just wrote a new book called “Awe of God”. He teaches about having a good and healthy “awe or fear of God”. Honestly if I didn’t have this good healthy attitude towards God then I think I would have given up already in my own faith journey. Following God rightly is hard work! Saying no to sin is hard work. Repenting is humbling and hard work. That’s why it’s important to repent daily in your quiet time.

My children and husband are not saved aka “born again believers” like I am. They know how to become saved but for whatever reasons they can’t believe. I’ve told them that the highest priority for me as their mom and wife is that we all meet up in heaven after this time on earth is over for us. I hope you feel the same way too. If not, then please do your research and wrestle with God about this topic of salvation. I did sooo much wrestling about this topic and now I am convinced what Jesus taught us about the afterlife is true.

I thought this pastor also did a great sermon on how to pray for the unsaved people in your life. I listened to it twice. Here are key pointers on how to pray:
1. PRAY THEY WOULD FALL UNDER TERRIBLE CONVICTION OF THEIR SINS AND SEPARATION FROM GOD.
2. PRAY THE VOICE OF GOD WILL BE HEARD AND IRRESISTIBLE AS GOD CALLS THEM OUT OF DARKNESS – 1 PETER 2:9
3. PRAY THAT THE FEAR OF GOD WOULD FALL UPON THEM.
4. THAT AN AWARENESS OF THE DREAD AND LOVE OF GOD WOULD COME, VIA DREAMS, VISIONS, OR NATURAL CIRCUMSTANCES.
5. PRAY FOR GOD TO STRATEGICALLY MANEUVER BELIEVERS IN THEIR LIFE.
