I hope these resources can help you to strengthen your faith and to share your faith with others. I’m generally looking for opportunities to share my faith with others. I’m not always very brave about sharing but we all must try. Navigators’ ministry offered a very nice and simple guidance on how to explain to someone about the gospel of Jesus Christ and steps to salvation. Please read this short article and download their pdf sheet too.

If you didn’t grow up with any particular religion like me, then it’s natural to question the divinity and identity of Jesus Christ, especially since He commands your full allegiance and obedience to follow Him. Once you decide to follow Him fully, you will also discover that life gets much harder since you can’t do and say whatever you want. I felt like a wild horse getting trained to be domesticated. I remember asking myself many times, “Is this worth the pain, discipline and suffering?” I remember I came across this fork in my spiritual road, only a year one of following Him, and so I did a lot of reading and research about Jesus to make sure that He is who He said He was. I highly recommend the book “The Case for Christ” by Lee Strobel if you also have your questions and doubts. If you want to watch the movie instead, they made it a few years ago. But if you have serious doubts like I did, please read his book. https://www.amazon.com/Case-Christ-Journalists-Personal-Investigation/dp/0310209307
Sometimes following Jesus Christ can lead you to literally lose your life. This week in my quiet time, this hymn came up in my mind. I looked up how this song came about and I was deeply touched by the bravery of these new believers in India. Please read this story.
If you have been following Jesus whole-heartedly for a while now, one thing that you are familiar with is disappointments. It’s important to know how to process your disappointments when you have prayed long and worked hard, but the answer is not what you had hoped for. I am currently reading a book by Philip Yancey called “Disappointment with God”. I am only in the 4th chapter and it is really excellent. This is a concept that as believers, we must know how to process and work through. Not handling disappointments correctly and humbly can be dangerous because it may lead you away from God, bitter and hard. If you are in this danger zone, please get this book. https://www.amazon.com/Disappointment-God-Three-Questions-Aloud/dp/031021436X
If you are following Jesus Christ and have no plans on going back to your old life, but would like to hear a hopeful message to move forward, please listen to this sermon by the late pastor Tim Keller. It was excellent! 😃 https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/timothy-keller-sermons-podcast-by-gospel-in-life/id352660924?i=1000621622779
I don’t do a bible reading plan every year but whenever I do, I am blessed by reading through the entire Bible. Currently I’m using this Bible to read through the Bible every day. It is not an expensive Bible and I really like their short commentaries at the end of each daily reading.

There’s also a Wayfinding bible that I thought was very clever in how they introduce bible reading to new readers.

In my bible reading plan, I am currently on the book of Leviticus. It is a book that I glaze over quickly because the many regulations and rules bore me so much. However, this time, I am not so bored reading it. It’s hard to explain but I found this cool website that share the overview of each bible books. Here is the gist of what I am gleaming. Check it out and maybe you will also give the book of Leviticus a longer glance next time you are reading it on your bible reading plan. https://overviewbible.com/leviticus/
I came across a quote that said, “If you can’t hear God, then read God’s Word in the Bible.” Being a student of God’s Word for the past 13 years, I now have more confidence in recognizing God’s voice because I’ve learned a lot from the Bible. This gives me much peace and assurance when I have to make decisions too. May God richly bless and reward you as you are reading/studying the word of God and drawing near to know and understand Him.
This older worship song came up in my quiet time this morning. May it bless you too. https://youtu.be/z2tI0zR5ggE
