Hello friends. Please review these resources for your knowledge and education. Like many of you, I’ve been unaware about the backstory behind Hamas until recently. Pastor Gary did an excellent job on explaining the history behind Israel and Palestinian conflicts on this 46 minutes message.

(A ministry friend told me about his church during the pandemic lockdown and I’ve been using their teaching resources for my Bible studies ever since.)
This was also excellent. It’s about Christian duty to hate the evil of Hamas with biblical reasons why.
Here is an amazing testimony about the founder of Hamas’ son who left his family’s beliefs behind, and is now a believer of Jesus Christ and a vocal opponent of the Hamas government. Watch his testimony and his public statements against the Hamas government (it seems like in a UN meeting). Let’s pray for his safety and protection too.

Hezbollah is another terriost organization in the northern region of Israel. Here is another testimony of a hardcore Hezbollah fighter who encountered Jesus Christ and became a believer. Let’s also pray for his safety and protection.
Here is a Palestinian political analyst who explains Hamas in this short 6 minute video. Let’s pray for his safety and protection too.

As I’ve was reflecting on these brave men sharing their faith in Jesus Christ and their inside stories about Hamas and Hezbollah; this saying by Jesus comes to mind.
Matthew 10:28 (NKJV)
28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Let’s reflect on this one fear that we as mortals should have – from my experiences in the past 13 years, the fear of God is clean and it’s good for me too. As more fears rise up in me because of world events, I realize that the only thing that I can do is to replace my bad fears with good fear. That will be my methodology if you want to try it too. Here are brief commentaries about the “fear of the Lord” vs “fear of man”.

Here is a good bible study if you are looking to do one. Anne Graham Lotz is daughter of the famous evangelist, Billy Graham.

“If a church is to be what it ought to be for the purposes of God, we must train it in the holy art of prayer. Churches without prayer-meetings are grievously common. Even if there were only one such, it would be one to weep over. In many churches the prayer-meeting is only the skeleton of a gathering: the form is kept up, but the people do not come. There is no interest, no power, in connection with the meeting. Oh, my brothers, let it not be so with you! Do train the people to continually meet together for prayer. Rouse them to incessant supplication. There is a holy art in it. Study to show yourselves approved by the prayerfulness of your people. If you pray yourself, you will want them to pray with you; and when they begin to pray with you, and for you, and for the work of the Lord, they will want more prayer themselves, and the appetite will grow. Believe me, if a church does not pray, it is dead. Instead of putting united prayer last, put it first. Everything will hinge upon the power of prayer in the church.”
~ Charles H. Spurgeon
