Lately, there are more and more world, national and local issues that we pray about in our prayer meetings. It’s important to have unity when we pray together and so if there are any differences in opinion, please discuss these things with your prayer partners before corporate prayer time.
I do a lot of research during the week and ask the Holy Spirit to open my understanding so that I am able to pray with God’s Word and according to His will. There are times I’m uncertain and I just don’t know yet. Then I ask for God’s wisdom, and then wait and watch.
This last month has been very challenging for me as more things have been revealed. It reminded me of the time about 12 years ago when the Holy Spirit was showing me the realities of child sexual trafficking and the big business enterprise to meet the demands of the sick clients’ needs worldwide. (For this reason alone, I believe that Jesus Christ is coming back soon in order to end the suffering of the children and other vulnerable population enslaved in human trafficking.)
Lately, the Holy Spirit has been bringing to my attention the suffering of the Palestinian people. A British doctor who worked in a hospital in Gaza shared that the Palestinian people are extremely terrified of the Hamas. He was warned to never ever go to a certain part in the hospital nor ask questions about it. The Palestinian’s terror towards the Hamas was very great and real, according to this British doctor.

Oftentimes I ask in prayer to sendGod’s angels to guard, protect and battle for our behalf and our causes. Please read this article to remind yourself that we must pray and ask for God’s angels to help in our earthly affairs and battlefields. It’s biblical to ask for God’s angels to help us.
I read Billy Graham’s book about God’s angels if anyone wants to learn more about angels. It was an excellent book and biblically sound. Billy Graham referred to them as God’s secret agents. During my research on angels, I learned that God’s angels are very conscious of rank and order, like those who serve in the military. Therefore, if you want God’s angels to answer your ask for their assistance and help immediately, then you must make sure that you are under proper submission in your own life. If you are not sure that you are, then please call on the name of Jesus and not God’s angels. Jesus will help you regardless of your obedience or faith; because He cannot deny himself to those who call upon him (2 Timothy 2:13).

Whenever I think about the hostages held by the Hamas, my mind often goes to the women and children ever since I’ve read about the horrific rapes that were committed by the Hamas on 10/7. Please let’s also pray for thePalestinian Christians caught in Gaza right now. That somehow, they will be protected supernaturally and safely brought out of Palestine. Let’s also pray that more and more Palestinian Muslims will have dreams about Jesus Christ. For the Muslims, dreams are considered as messages by God (I’ve heard that from a devout Muslim who became a Christian apologist, Nabeel Qureshi.) This is why Jesus often introduces himself to the Muslims in dreams. So please pray that more Palestinians and even the Hamas will have encounters with Jesus Christ in their dreams.

He was an excellent Christian apologist before his untimely death from stomach cancer. A Christian apologist is basically a believer who can defend the Christian faith through intellectual discourse. I tried to become one but realized that God hasn’t gifted me in this area. However, in my learning time from the Christian apologists, it solidified my faith. So it was good that I sat under their teachings for a while.
Speaking about Christian apologetics; I just heard an excellent podcast from the founder of Mama Bear Apologetics ministry. How cool it is to have this ministry just for the moms! This is a long podcast but well worth your time. I listened when I was bathroom cleaning, and it made my cleaning go much easier for me. 🙂

This morning I just read a really good article on why this Christian is no longer a cessationist. Cessationist Christians believe that there is no longer a need for the supernatural and miracles since the world now has the Bible.

I was there in my thoughts for a season because it was too frustrating to understand the lack of miracles, healing and God’s touch in today’s churches. I don’t think this way anymore but I’m still frustrated. I’m praying and begging God more than ever for His power to be demonstrated in the body of Christ, the church.
