Reasons why we need to pray for Israel’s victory in this war

I sent this message to my prayer group in order to get them on board with unity before our next corporate prayer meeting. With so much destruction happening in Palestine and seeing the suffering of the people there, it’s very hard not to pray for peace by cease fire by Israel. However, after reviewing these resources I understand better. Please review these resources yourself and let’s pray 🙏. Only God can make a way by our continual appeals to heaven through our Lord Jesus Christ.

This past week has been difficult for me as stories are being told more about the horrific nature of the 10/7 terrorist acts in Israel, and how the hostages were treated by the Hamas. If these stories are causing me great distress, then why do I keep listening? It’s because the Holy Spirit has given me the grace and power to hear the victims’ stories just as the same grace was upon me to hear the horrific stories of human trafficked victims.

I recall reading about a serial pedofile in USA who was finally caught by the police and prosecuted to life in prison. He eerily smiled when he was caught and said the number of children he molested. I forget the exact number but it was over a hundred, maybe 103? It sent chills to my spine thinking about the number of children that he has greatly damaged to satisfy his evil lust. In my research, I realized that for some people there is no more conscience because it has been completely seared to numbness and it is dead. These individuals will never stop luring and molesting children until they are caught or killed…or they become born again and saved while in prison. Yes, I’ve heard and read this happening too when they are in prison and exposed to the gospel of Jesus Christ, repent and receive Jesus as Lord and Savior. (It’s remarkable the amazing grace of God and the obedience of some servants of Jesus Christ who have been called to share the gospel with such prisoners.)

After hearing these stories and reports, I am compelled to keep praying for the complete elimination of the Hamas government in Palestine. It’s important to have unity especially during corporate prayer meetings and so if you are planning to join us, please hear these reports so you can understand why I will be praying for the complete end of the Hamas leadership and freedom for the Palestinian people from this evil leadership.

If you are not well mentally, please refrain from listening to this interview or pray before listening. It’s extremely difficult to hear the stories but I understand why he does not sugar coat the victims’ stories.

I knew something was wrong with the UN when I learned that UN had more human rights violations against Israel than North Korea, 15 vs 1 to be exact. As a South Korean, I know North Korea atrocities and crimes committed against their own civilians and other nationalities in their prisons. They are very, very, very evil.

The UN group in Palestine is not what they appear to be and hence the human rights violations against Israel are numerous by the UN.

This article helped me to understand the biblical teachings from Jesus about loving our enemies. I hope it helps you too if you are being called as I am to pray and engage.

I recently discovered this news group that is run by Jewish Christians in Israel (also called Messianic Jews). Just as another Christian would look to me for a Christian’s perspective about North Korea, I am looking to Israeli Christians to give me information about the situation in the Middle East so I can pray strategically.

I visited the Korean War museum when my family was visiting South Korea about seven years ago. I remember this key information from my visit. Right before the Chinese army came to help the North Korea communist army and push back the American military; they started to play loud drums and eerie flute music in the evenings. They kept doing this every night. Despite the massive American military and their powerful weapons compared to the poorly equipped Chinese army, the strong American military was pushed back and they retreated. This is why we have a divided Korea today and the North Koreans are slaves in their own country to serve the Kim family and the communist party.

My takeaway from this information at the Korean War museum is that there is a spiritual warfare that also needs to be fought while there is an ongoing physical battle. I hope that after you review these resources, you will join me in prayer on Wednesday and be in unity with me when it’s my turn to pray. I’ll be praying for Israel and their victory in this war. If you want to have more discussion about these things before our corporate prayer, please reach out to me.
