Once my daughter started college three years ago, I started to pay attention to college culture. Oh my goodness how things have changed since I was in college thirty years ago! Unfortunately everything is worse and much more dangerous. Evildoers and demonic beings target college campuses and students. This is why I have to keep praying for a revival in our colleges.
This is a very good FYI book for parents who are sending their children to college. The authors will give you facts and data as well as suggestions and good actionable advice for parents.

I also suggest that you sign up for the student and local newspapers. They report campus news that the university never shares for PR reasons. Campus police also has to report all assaults and crimes. These online reports are available to the public but you have to search for it. I’m certain only a small fraction are reported to the campus police but it’ll give you an idea of what issues need your attention when praying for a college.
As you become a dedicated prayer intercessor for your child’s college, the Holy Spirit will lead you to more insidious information in order for your prayer intervention. Sometimes if your heart and mind feel sick from the pain of knowing, then please take a break. Being a praying person is like running a very long marathon, not a short sprint. Take a break whenever you need it but don’t leave your assignment unless the Holy Spirit releases you from the prayer work. I find that praying corporately eases the heaven burden better. I also believe that corporate prayer is much more powerful and effective. This is why I continue to organize them despite the fact that it makes me a target by demonic beings. Please pray for me and my family 🙏.
I don’t really pray with my gift of tongues unless my spirit senses danger and threat. This supernatural gift is like a danger alert or gauge for me. Lately I have been praying a lot more with my gift of tongues. This tells me that there’s just more danger around us. I don’t know what I’m praying about since I don’t have the gift of interpretation. Perhaps I don’t really want to know…ignorance can be bliss. 🙂 Yet I love that my spirit is praying to Almighty God for the situation or person, maybe even for myself. I’ve been visited by strong demonic spirits before and I am telling you the truth that my mind froze from terror. It’s not possible for my mind in this moment to pray in English. Like a deer in the headlights, my mind goes blank. In these moments only my spirit knows how to pray. I simply open my mouth and pray in my supernatural language. This is why I desire everyone to have this supernatural gift. It’s very useful when your brain freezes up.
Several of you told me that this spiritual gift is a turn-off for you because you have close family members who have this gift but their lives are a mess and they are unkind and unruly in speech and behaviors. My thoughts are that you don’t know what the Holy Spirit is praying through them. Perhaps the Holy Spirit is praying for their discipline so that they repent and grow in maturity. Unless you have the gift of interpretation, no one knows what the Holy Spirit is releasing in their prayers.

Speaking about God’s discipline, if you are a child of God then you will experience discipline. Whenever I experience a negative circumstance, I first ask in prayer if I’m being disciplined. Trust me, like a good parent, God makes it very clear through the Bible and also external confirmations if He is disciplining me due to my disobedience or not living in the guidelines of the Bible as I should. He does this for my own personal benefit, safety and success. If you experience a negative situation, please pray about it and ask God if you are being disciplined. He will tell you very clearly and give you steps to follow too. Please listen carefully and obey. Then leave the consequences to Him.

As the Holy Spirit is leading me to prayers of bigger and greater reach, I confess that my mind is being bombarded with thoughts of unbelief and doubts. Few days ago when I was reading Derek Prince’s book about changing history through intercession and being greatly challenged by his teachings, suddenly the Holy Spirit stopped the doubts from becoming unbelief by saying this to me“If you were a medical student, you would not question the professor’s lectures. Then why can’t you believe like you would as a medical student?” I immediately stopped myself and said “Yes, sir!” 🫡

History Belongs to the Intercessors | Times Square Church Sermons
In last Thursday’s prayer meeting, I received this vision about our prayer group’s core members being like wartime nurses working under a temporary medical tent. We are not in the frontlines of the battlefield but we are close enough to the frontlines of battlefield. We are treating all wounded (soldiers, civilians) coming in with serious wounds. There are shootings and bombs etc heard nearby. Our prayers and intercessions will be like nursing the seriously wounded and saving their lives and bringing them comfort. However, since we are working near the frontlines of battlefield, we aren’t able to treat longterm rehabilitation or even engage much in leisurely fun. That’s my opinion and interpretation of this vision.

Please read this short article about a pastor and his wife who were forewarned about the danger at the Superbowl parade. When there’s real danger, I noticed that the Holy Spirit is very loud and clear. Please pause and pray for clarity.
