I have a personal testimony to share with you.  On Thursday prayer meetings, my co-leader is Mary.  We have been praying together for few years already.  Long story short, after so many prayers together, I didn’t realize that she has the gift of faith to pray for healing and miracles.  Here is my brief story to tell you how I just discovered that she has this gift of faith to pray for healing.  What is amazing is that recently I have been praying to God about learning from someone close by on how to release healing and miracles. God already placed her in my life!  Praise God!

Couple of months ago, I had a big dental work done on my upper molar because of nerve sensitivity.  My dentist redid the filling since it was an old one, and put a crown over it too.  It was a long procedure and cost lots of money too.  I was very annoyed when I discovered that that the tooth sensitivity was not fixed but instead it seemed to have gotten worse. Dentist said that if it doesn’t get better then the next step is to do a root canal (which is killing the tooth nerve).  Two weeks ago, I was even more annoyed to see that the insurance company was fighting to pay the full amount of the bill and that I may have to pay nearly $2000 for this failed dental work.  In my great annoyance that Thursday morning, I told Mary what happened and asked her to pray that my tooth not be sensitive and that I don’t have to get a root canal.  She prayed exactly as I asked for and it has been two weeks, and I have no nerve sensitivity on that molar when I chew!  Being honest here, I still had doubts about the healing and so I didn’t share this good news with Mary until last Thursday. Now, I am praying that the dental insurance will pay for the remainder of the bill too. :). If you have any prayer needs for physical healing, please dial into our prayer call on Thursdays.  Mary will pray for you or your family member.  

FYI – my faith for healing has been damaged in the past several years due to doubts and lies planted by the enemy, and some big defeats experienced in the church communities.  It is encouraging to know that as soon as I prayed to God that I want my faith on healing to be restored, he already put someone in place to help me believe again. Praise the Lord!
