Hi everyone! I was going through these Bible verses about the power of God that CBN compiled. Please look through these verses. I put them together in the attached document (I couldn’t attach the document but I took snapshots of the pages and put them below.) I was surprised by some of their selected Bible verses. I think I understand why. God’s power is our portion but there are conditions that we need to meet too – just like our children will receive more privileges and opportunities when they show maturity and responsibility. Please reflect on these verses and allow the Holy Spirit to guide and convict you too.

This message was very good if you need a boost of encouragement and prayers to share your faith. I know it’s very hard to share our faith especially in this area. It was good for me to receive their prayers and to hear their stories about intentional evangelism.

Check out this summer program for teenagers to establish their faith and beliefs. They have an online classes too. Currently majority of children who grew up in a Christian household will abandon their faith in college. I remember pastor Tim Keller saying in a sermon once that whenever a young adult who grew up in a Christian household comes to him to question their faith in Christ, the first question he asks is “what’s her/his name?” I’m sure he was half joking but I thought it was right too. I have friends in the church who follow the Lord wholeheartedly and they have been led to have their children take a gap year before college in order to establish their children’s faith. I’m sure there are many Christian programs before college if you ask around and pray about it.

Dr Charles Stanley is an excellent Bible teacher. You cannot go wrong in his sermons. Here is a good message on how to claim a promise from the Bible. He also has a life application study Bible if you want to get one.

Following Jesus Christ as a disciple is not easy. There are many battles along the way. From my experience, the Holy Spirit gives you a good heads up especially in bigger and longer battles. Sometimes we need reminders that victory is our portion so that we continue to stand firm in our faith. There are many stories of victories in the church and this is another reason why you need to join small groups. Whenever you hear advice from believers, please be a good fruit inspector of their lives and relationships. Title is not important but their lives should indicate how well they are applying the Bible and obeying God. Learn to be a good fruit inspector.
