Two Prayer Visions + Thorn in the flesh + Syropheonican woman’s faith saves her daughter

Lately I noticed that I’ve been receiving more visions during our corporate prayer meetings.  This past Wednesday I shared this vision with everyone in the meeting and submitted it to the group so they can judge it for themselves.  This is a vision that I saw this past Wednesday.

I saw a lady who came to our meeting for the first time.  She was on a good, solid broad place and she was right in the center too.  Surrounding her broad place was great, dark stormy waters. Word for her was that she is in a good, safe, solid place in the Lord and to keep being faithful and rooted in our church community.

Though this vision was for her, I see how it is also for all of us.  God desires that we are in a good, solid and broad place where there is freedom, peace, provision and protection.  Please evaluate your current spiritual location and if you are not on a good, solid and broad place, then pray to God that you will find this place.  As the storms in our country and world become more turbulent and intense, you definitely don’t want to be stuck faraway in the middle of nowhere in the oceans by yourself.  You want to be established and rooted in a good church community.  (By the way, even if your family members may not be there with you in faith; I saw that my family members were connected to me and my broad, solid place with a rope. They may be out on the ocean on their own in their tiny boats 🛶 but as the ocean waters become more turbulent and intense, it will be easier to pull them in.  Praise the Lord.)

He brought me out into a broad place; he rescued me, because he delighted in me. – Psalm 18:19(ESV)

I will rejoice and be glad in your steadfast love, because you have seen my affliction; you have known the distress of my soul, and you have not delivered me into the hand of the enemy; you have set my feet in a broad place. – Psalm 31:7-8 (ESV)

(February 2026 – I used ChatGPT to create a drawing of my vision. It’s really good! Wow.)

This vision reminded me of another vision that I had last year.  Here it is for your reminder again:

Vision received on 1/29/23 at prayer meeting:

While another mom was praying fervently for our children, schools, country and the world; I received this vivid vision. I saw a shiny, big, long, powerful sword coming down from heaven and the sword swept across a massive field of a wheat farm. Though I couldn’t see who had the sword in his hands, I have a feeling that it one of the mighty, warring angel of God. Both wheat and tares were growing side by side. In case you are not aware, when a wheat grows into maturity, it naturally stoops its head downwards while the tares continues to grow straight up. In early stages, it is unclear which seed is a wheat and which is tare. As they grow, you can clearly see which one is wheat and which one is tare. The wheat’s head stooping downwards is a reflection of its humility and dependance on God, while the tare standing straight up is a reflection of its pride and self-sufficiency.

As the large sword was scooping across this wheat farm, I saw the sword chopping off anything that is too high in its height. The wheat whose heads are stooping downwards as it should be, are spared from the sharp blade of the sword. Tares are too tall, and their heads come off.

There is another thing that I saw in my vision that I thought was remarkable and full of God’s grace and mercies. For the “tare” family members, friends, people that we have been praying for; these tares had a special heavy weight around their heads so that their heads were forcibly bent lower to miss the sword’s blade of judgement as it crossed the field. I think the heavy weights can be challenges, circumstances, situations or relationships that make life very challenging for the tares. As painful as it is to watch your loved ones and friends going through difficulties, perhaps it is God who is allowing this to happen in order to spare their life and soul.

(If you have studied the Holy Bible as much as I have in last 13 years, then you know that God’s discipline and judgement against a person, people group, or nation is no joke!  Let’s humble ourselves before our King of kings and Lord of lords.  Let’s repent for ourselves, our family members, our church and country.  I believe that our daily repentance will spare us from the judgment of God.  Remember that judgement starts at the house of God (His church).  Please have daily quiet time and whenever the Holy Spirit convicts you, repent.  If an action is necessary then do it right away.  If in doubt about an action, please receive prayers from mature Christian leaders and pastors.)

1 Peter 5:5-6

“God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.

Yesterday I was reflecting on this Psalm verse below. Mostly, it’s referenced when a Christian passes away.  But I also believe that when a person lays down one’s life to become a disciple, then our daily submission to Jesus Christ is a spiritual death to selfishness and our own agendas.  I believe that this death pleases our Almighty God greatly too.  It is a daily death since our natural self wants to direct our own life.

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. – Psalm 116:15 (ESV)

God allows “thorn in the flesh” for our own good and to humble us in order to give us an abundant life.  Here is a good sermon about the “thorn in the flesh” by Pastor RT Kendall.  His messages are always excellent.  You can’t go wrong with his teachings and theology.  He is firm but he offers biblical truth with great clarity and compassion.  I especially love to hear his personal stories knowing that he also gets challenged to obey God’s teachings and commands in the Holy Bible.

If you have a struggling child, then you will appreciate this story of the Syrophoenician woman in the Bible.   Please listen to this message by Pastor Tim Dilena and be encouraged to keep on praying until you receive a breakthrough for your child.  In our prayer group, there are many breakthrough victory stories for our children and grandchildren.  Come and receive our prayers when you need extra wisdom and boost of faith to keep on praying and believing for a miracle.  It has only been recently that mental illnesses have come under the control of psychiatric and medical professional care.  Prior to this, those suffering from severe mental disorders were considered to be demon-possessed.  Whatever your beliefs are about it, today many people are suffering immensely from mental disorders.  This sermon is about a Syrophoenican mom in Bible times who sought out Jesus for deliverance for her daughter.  To this mom, she believed that her daughter was afflicted by demons.  Please listen to this sermon and hear how this mom received deliverance for her daughter by her faith in Jesus Christ.  Spiritual battle requires spiritual prayers sent out by prayer people.  Be assured that God is listening to your prayers as your heart is turning towards Him.  The main thing is that you never, ever give up on your prayers for your children and grandchildren until you have a breakthrough. Times Square church and many ministries have online prayer request forms.  Submit your prayer requests in these good, trusted places.

This Syropheonican mom’s testimony is also my testimony with my daughter. Sometimes when I look back and think about all the battles that I fought in my ministry work for the Lord in the church, high school and at home while also dealing with Alex; I don’t know how the heck I did it. It was God who gave me this supernatural long endurance. I believe I had great productivity at that time period too since I was so weak in my flesh. I praise God for He has given us victory and brought my family into a broad place. And now I am a sister-in-Christ who can pray for other moms and their children with faith, and have compassion that comes from going through the dark valleys of parenthood.  Brr I definitely don’t want to go through that dark tunnel again! Lord, have mercy on me please 🙏.

Lately I’ve been hearing about youth suicides increasing again.  If you have children and grandchildren in schools and universities, please cover their schools with your prayers regularly.  Ask the Lord to reveal any students trying to commit suicide and if they are committed to doing it, that they will not succeed.  The praying parent group that I formed in my daughter’s college would not have been created if I wasn’t so desperate to pray with other moms for our children at their college. Today there are nearly 490 members in our group and we have been praying for three years already for their college! Praise the Lord Jesus!!

Isaiah 40:29-31 (NIV)
29
He gives strength to the weary
    and increases the power of the weak.
30
Even youths grow tired and weary,
    and young men stumble and fall;
31
but those who hope in the Lord
    will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
    they will run and not grow weary,
    they will walk and not be faint.
