I’ve have done many of Stormie O’Martian’s prayer books. In her prayer books, you not only have great prayers after each chapter, but she also gives great advice and encouragements. I highly recommend all her prayer books.
In her prayer book for parents, she has a chapter on praying for your child’s future spouse. Reading this devotional reminded me about that prayer. Please read this short devotional and be encouraged about praying. Stormie O’Martian’s prayer books are great when you don’t have the right words for your prayers or don’t have much faith. These small-faith prayers remind me of Old Testament stories where a random arrow was shot out by a soldier and it would hit the enemy king perfectly and brought his death. It didn’t matter if the king was in disguise or how far-away he was from the battlefield. The arrow would hit the king precisely and go straight in-between his well-suited armor too. The solider had no idea he just killed the enemy king too. So, if you have little faith right now, please buy her prayer books and say out loud her prayers. God will lead your prayers to the exact location to hit the enemy. Your prayers are like the arrows of a soldier in the battlefield. But you do have to shoot the arrows though. This is what intercessory prayer is in a nutshell. As you become a more seasoned prayer warrior then you will be directed to shoot an arrow to a very specific target. In corporate prayer meetings, we work together and instead of arrows; we are using a big cannon against the enemy (aka devil and demons). I’m currently watching “Franklin” on Apple+ and now more interested in learning about our founding fathers of America and the revolutionary war against Britain (my only education on this topic was from pre-college so it was very long ago. Did you know that you need a group of about 7 trained soldiers to load and fire one cannon during the revolutionary war? This is what our corporate prayer group is like.)
