If anyone is interested here are the five sessions that prophet, Julian Adams shared at the Crossing Church. I was there for sessions 3 and 5. My bullet point notes were from session 3. I reheard it again and realized how much I have missed. I heard the first three sessions already and will continue to watch the rest.
I learned this background about him. He grew up in South Africa and then moved to England and now lives in Boston, Massachusetts. It was very interesting to hear his stories about dealing with systematic racism in South Africa as a bi-racial person. He was also severely bullied as a child by his peers in South Africa because of his speech impediment and cleft lip. He grew up in a Christian household and church community. He had so little joy as a child and teenager due to his circumstances, and confessed that he was a religious Pharisee in training while serving in the church…until he was supernaturally touched by God. (I guess this is why he keeps on talking about the joy of the Lord, and how we should be having fun in the church and not be so serious.)
I went to this prophetic ministry weekend not knowing what to expect. I just knew that my friend who attends this church is someone who has been there for me in difficult times, and she is humble, very caring and serves at her church as a leader. I also know how much she pursues God wholeheartedly regardless of her life circumstances. She is a stable, safe, and a godly woman – my go-to friend when I need prayers and counsel on personal matters. We may have differences in theology but not on the cores (like the deity of Jesus Christ, salvation by faith only in Jesus and not by works, etc.)
This is a motto by the Moravian Church that I thought was really good and I follow myself when I disagree with others in the church. The motto of the Moravian Church is: “In essentials, unity; in nonessentials, liberty; and in all things, love”.
(If you want to learn more about the Moravian Church beliefs and history, here is a website that I foundhttps://www.moravian.org/)
In my opinion while listening to Julian Adams, I thought his message was too grace-focused. Perhaps it is because I find that the “fear of the Lord” is what keeps me in line and living in obedience according to the Bible. Like I often shared, living life God’s way is very, very difficult. Therefore, I believe that having a good and healthy “fear of God” is good for us in order that we end our lives well by sticking closely to the principles in the Bible. I have seen too many ministers venture off once they get older and influential. This is probably another reason why I read and study the Bible so much. Bible reading and studying deposits the “fear of God” in you. I don’t know anyone else who commits as much time as I do in studying the Bible from a variety of Bible teachers/scholars/resources. I just have to be very careful with pride, lest I morph into a religious Pharisee like Julian Adams was becoming as a teenager. Please rebuke me kindly if I do.
Here are the five sessions by prophet, Julian Adams:
One more thing about the prophet, Julian Adams, is that he was spontaneously healing people in the audience! I did not expect that. The Crossing Church who hosted him offers healing prayers if anyone needs healing miracles. They have trained their church people on how to pray for healing and miracles. Perhaps you will get my friend too. She is one of the leaders in their healing teams.

They also offer prophetic ministry for those who want to hear from God directly. Most of us, including myself learn about God by hearing good sermons on Sundays in church, and studying the Bible daily. However, I feel that we need to hear from God directly on a more regular basis. I think prophetic ministry offers that opportunity. I thought their short document about how to handle prophetic word was very helpful. https://www.crossingpa.org/_files/ugd/b20aa5_2fabc3b1c0b54b77a7577df8a992a2b1.pdf
Have a wonderful Memorial weekend!
