Hello friends. Here is the next chapter in Daniel if you are reading along with me. It’s an incredible chapter because it talks about a heavenly battle between angels and demons. It’s also difficult because now we address the topic of demons and spiritual warfare. I hope you will pay attention so that you will stay in the boundaries for your protection, safety and wellbeing.
Here is Daniel 10:
Bible Gateway passage: Daniel 10 – The Voice
Here is Pastor Hamrick’s message. He shared some basic information about spiritual warfare and also a few thoughts if you encounter any one who is demonically possessed. It’s important to hear these warnings so you will know what to do and what not to do:
Here are screenshots of his presentation if you want to save it on your phone for reference:

Listening to this message reminded me of this ex-satanist’s testimony. (I only heard bits and pieces before about him, but was too afraid to learn more.) He was the third-ranking warlock in the NYC area. Hear his incredible testimony and how he became saved. His story made me understand why he became a top ranking satan worshiper. If we had his start in life then perhaps we would do the same. I also loved hearing about a wall of fire around the Christian believers. He wasn’t able to touch the Christians with his dark powers. A demon who was working with him said that they were not allowed to.
I highly encourage everyone to hear his story because it will also help you to understand how demonic spirits work. Putting your head in the sand and being ignorant about these things is not going to help you stay safe. It will only put you and your family in danger. I’ve always warned you before, please stay far away from the people and stores that sell these products and services. Don’t even watch their videos on the internet for entertainment because it’ll open up demonic portals and create chaos in your mind and life.
Ex Satan Worshipper John Ramirez Testimony
Just because you are a follower of Jesus Christ doesn’t mean that you will never experience spiritual attacks. I faced several attacks in the first two years of leading the prayer group. If it wasn’t for my “fear of God” being greater than “fear of demons” then I am sure that I would have abandoned my assignment. Perhaps God was testing me as well to see if I would be obedient and loyal to my post despite my fears of the supernatural and feeling like a big target for the enemy. It also made me realize that our prayers must be influential if I was getting so much attention from the enemy. I’m a chicken about these things. I came across this picture during that time and it gave me comfort. I hope it helps you too.

Here is a good article about being born into a battle. I agree with his observations. Another reason why I left the faith in my mid-20s was because I knew that there was spiritual warfare for the Christians. But churches that I attended were not even acknowledging that there was a devil or even telling me how to stay safe. And I was tired of being in the losing side. Leaving behind all the spiritual stuff and living like an atheist felt safer for me. Boy, was I wrong after hearing this ex-satanist story.
To end this message on an uplifting note, please listen to this young man’s testimony. This young man lost his father in an DWI accident and so he turned away from God completely. One mighty touch from the Holy Spirit turned his hard heart soft again to God. He said that great revival is coming to the entire world. I am so looking forward to this! Until then, please stay safe and sane in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. His name is powerful and he is our only refuge. Call upon him if you or your family member is being harassed by demons. Hold onto Jesus Christ. Don’t ever go to another spiritual source for your relief. It is only temporary and it will not last. When you listen to the ex-satanist’s story then you’ll understand. Please inform your children and grandchildren to call on the name of Jesus Christ if they are ever in physical or spiritual danger. His name is very powerful.

If your loved one already has opened themselves up to demonic portals and even cooperating with these forces believing that they are harmless or helpful, then pray for them and love them. Please place some healthy boundaries for yourself too. Like helping someone who is addicted to drugs or alcohol; there has to be safeguards for you and the rest of your family’s wellbeing and safety. Hold onto Jesus Christ and stay close to a community of mature believers who will encourage and help you as you are standing in your faith for your loved one.

C.S. Lewis has a great fictional book about demons working against a Christian. It’ll give you insight into how they operate behind the scenes against you.
You might also want to check out this book about heaven. I’ve been meaning to read it since it came out. I think I’ll get it and put it for my summer reading.

Please reflect on these quotes by great war strategists. Maybe we should also learn from these war strategists.
“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.” – Sun Tzu, The Art of War
“I am not afraid of an army of lions led by a sheep; I am afraid of an army of sheep led by a lion.” – Alexander the Great (FYI – Jesus is our very courageous lion leader. We are the very scared sheep. 😂 )
This is written by Apostle Paul to the Christians in Ephesus:
Ephesians 6:10-20 (NKJV)
The Whole Armor of God
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— 19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

As I have been preparing these resources for my prayer group, my physical ears are being assaulted. I’ve never had this type of bizarre issue before in my ears. Please pray for me. I see an ENT doctor tomorrow. Thank you for your prayers. Please prayerfully consider my sharing and resources. It is coming with a price for me.
To prepare my heart to share about demons and expose their activities in our highly academic church community with much unbelief, I came across this portion last week in my bible reading plan. I’ve read this passage before in my previous bible reading plans, but this time it really pierced my mind and heart.
Ezekiel 33:1-6 (NLT)
Ezekiel as Israel’s Watchman
33 Once again a message came to me from the Lord: 2 “Son of man, give your people this message: ‘When I bring an army against a country, the people of that land choose one of their own to be a watchman. 3 When the watchman sees the enemy coming, he sounds the alarm to warn the people. 4 Then if those who hear the alarm refuse to take action, it is their own fault if they die. 5 They heard the alarm but ignored it, so the responsibility is theirs. If they had listened to the warning, they could have saved their lives. 6 But if the watchman sees the enemy coming and doesn’t sound the alarm to warn the people, he is responsible for their captivity. They will die in their sins, but I will hold the watchman responsible for their deaths.’
