Hi everyone. Here is the next chapter in Daniel. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Daniel+11&version=VOICE
Here is Pastor Gary Hamrick’s message on Daniel 11:
I’ve been a diligent and disciplined student of the Holy Bible for the last 13 years. I have never taken a break in my bible studies. Oftentimes I’d get confused by the many prophets, kings and characters in the Bible. So whenever, I come across good cheat-sheets, I recognize and save them. Here are some that I found recently if you want to save them too.

Times Square Church just announced that their Summit Bible college is offering a gap year program for high school/college students! I would’ve LOVED to have done something like this as a teenager/young adult. Please check out their program for your child: https://www.summitpa.org/gapyear
I was not raised with any particular religion and so I had freedom to choose any religion that I wanted to. This liberality had me look into all the major world religions. After much research and study, I concluded at the end of my extensive research and soul-searching that Christianity offered the best deal for mortals in this life and the next. Axis ministry has a good short resource for parents/guardians on how to talk about world religions with your teenager: https://axis.org/resource/world-religions-conversation-kit/
If you want to study on your own the field of Christian Apologetics (basically an academic study to logically defend your faith and beliefs by discussion and debate), then I recommend Ravi Zacharias‘ books and videos. If you object to learning from him because of his sex scandals, I get it. It still upsets me too. Then, a friend told me about John Lennox. I saw a couple of his videos on YouTube and he is legit. I came across this recent article about him. At age 80, he is getting a fresh wind to impart to the next generation his teachings. Praise God!
I was never an atheist and so, I was surprised to find out that there are so many atheists in our area. Ravi Zacharias came to Princeton University in July 2013, and gave a very compelling argument against atheism.
Here is Q & A with the audience after his talk:
After listening to Pastor Vlad Savchuk‘s message on “how to deal with ministers you looked up to fall into sin“; I am more open to learning from Ravi Zacharias again. Here is Pastor Vlad’s message about it if you missed it in my last email:
Speaking about Pastor Vlad Savchuk, I told you that I heard from him a lot when Ukraine was invaded by Russia. Pastor Vlad is from Ukraine and his wife is from Russia. Pastor Vlad invited Pastor Henry Madava of Kyiv, Ukraine to give a history lesson on Ukraine and Russia. Before the invasion, I have not even heard of Ukraine. Since this Pastor is originally from Zimbabwe, he had to learn the history as an outsider and so he explained the history and conflict very well, in addition to sharing his spiritual perspective about the invasion. Here is the interview, only few days after the invasion:
I would check his church on Facebook to pray for them and would sigh with relief that their church wasn’t bombed. I was recently thinking about him and his church, and so I am happy to learn that their church is still standing in Kyiv, Ukraine. Praise God! Here is his latest update about what is happening in his church and in Ukraine. He is giving his talk in Zimbabwe, his birth country. It was an excellent message about resilience and grit. His message starts around 1:10. Yes, this church worshipped for over an hour before his message! They look like they were having a wonderful worship.
If you ever need to learn about biblical resilience and grit, then I highly recommend any of the Times Square Church sermons. https://sermons.tsc.nyc/
Here is a good short article about Haiti and their current crisis. Please read and pray for Haiti. People are suffering immensely there. 🙏😢🙏https://www.thegospelcoalition.org/article/turmoil-hope-haiti/
