We also pray regularly for thepersecuted Christians worldwide. Please read their stories on this month’s Persecution magazine. They are our siblings-in-Christ and are suffering a lot. Please be informed, pray and listen for God’s instructions on what else He might want you to do to help them.
I’ve noticed that God has given me grace to hear the horror stories of children and vulnerable people caught in sexual and labor trafficking. Most people turn away from hearing their stories because it’s just too hard to bear it. I understand. That’s why I know it’s a special divine grace that I have been given to hear their stories. The Holy Spirit keeps warning me about a global depression coming up. I believe it’s going to be as deep and long as the Great Depression of 1930s. Even if I am wrong, there is no harm in planning ahead by praying proactively for our financial decisions. Billy Graham was born in 1918 and so, he was a child/teenager/young adult during the 1930s. His family didn’t lose their dairy farm during that long decade of the Great Depression. He wrote in his autobiography that he always had good food to eat and he doesn’t remember any lack. He had a good childhood and teen years. He only mentioned that his dad looked very stressed at times. What a way to be sheltered in that long decade of the Great Depression!
Perhaps 2020s is the time of proactively praying and planning ahead for your family. The surest way that you can do this well is by following the teachings in the Bible on money. You don’t have to be a Christian. They are God’s principles and so, anyone who follows the rules will have God’s protection in their finances.
A good friend told me that her husband has been following Dave Ramsey’s financial advice for years. (They will be celebrating 40 years of marriage. PTL!) I feel safe to recommend this Christian financial advisor to you. I listened to a few of Dave Ramsey’s videos on YouTube. Since I am a diligent student of the Bible, I think that his teachings are biblically sound. Please hear his teachings, subscribe to his free newsletter or get his books. Pray about your finances and how you can bring it under the authority of God’s word in the Bible.

My family has been using a financial planner since our children were born. I never prayed for him before, but now I am. I’m also praying more about my husband’s business and his decisions in work. I’m also praying more about my children and my nephews’ directions in their careers and jobs.
If anyone here is using a fortune teller or astrologer, etc. to help you make business and relational decisions, please stop. You are in dangerous hands. Please go to your pastor and your church leaders for prayers. God is faithful to give you guidance and wisdom when you ask in prayer.
This devotional was very insightful on the biblical reason why God blesses us. (I never really thought about it, but it makes sense; and plus, her insight is biblically-backed.)

When I was researching on healing for today’s church, another good ministry friend told me about Derek Prince and his teachings. This article did a good summary of Derek Prince’s work and list some of his books. I have been studying his teachings for a while now, and continue to do so. I have a lot of head knowledge about this subject, but I don’t have much experience and successes. That’s why I always bring in others with more faith for healing. Ever since I’ve been doing that, I’ve seeing more successes recently. Praise the Lord Jesus!
