Over the last 13-14 years I’ve been studying the Bible immensely. I get into discussions with church friends about Bible theology and doctrines. Sometimes our conversations can get a little heated as we are defending our position. However, we never allow ourselves to severe our friendship. Always remember this – “We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies.” (1 Corinthians 8:1 (NKJV)).
I believe that my college church broke up because of differences in the leadership’s position on healing and spiritual powers of the Holy Spirit. After all that I persevered to follow Jesus Christ as a young woman, this was the last straw that broke me and to fall away. This is why I don’t take lightly the damage that comes from broken relationships in the church or family relationships.
As today’s culture, politics and biblical doctrines are dividing the church friendships and families, I want to remind everyone about Psalm 133. God’s blessings come down when we are united.
Blessed Unity of the People of God
A Song of Ascents. Of David.
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brethren to dwell together in unity!
It is like the precious oil upon the head,
Running down on the beard,
The beard of Aaron,
Running down on the edge of his garments.
It is like the dew of Hermon,
Descending upon the mountains of Zion;
For there the Lord commanded the blessing—
Life forevermore.
Times Square church just gave an excellent message about this topic and Psalm 133.

If this election season is causing division in your church or family, please pray ahead before you meet with your church friends and family. Ask God to help you to put a guard over your mouth. Don’t take Satan’s bait which will drag you away from the church and family members by your offense. Below is an email that I sent about the believer’s “kryptonite”. According to John Bevere’s book “The Bait of Satan”, this kryptonite is offense and unforgiveness.
Believer’s Kryptonite + Book of Numbers + Bible Theology: Why it’s Important
Something remarkable is happening in college campuses in our country. There is another big state university where students are rushing to receive Jesus Christ and get baptized immediately! I’m really speechless. Wow we have been praying for revival for so long and now that it looks like it is happening, I’m not sure what is next if revival comes to local colleges by us. Please read this news report and let us pray 🙏.
