Hello friends. This weekend is the Jewish holiday called Purim which recounts the book of Esther and celebrates their victory. Since this prayer group is called the Esther Prayer Group, please learn more about this holiday.
If you want to do a deeper Bible study on this book, Beth Moore’s study is excellent. I did it on my own and I loved it. I have often felt like a spiritual orphan in my faith journey and so I gravitated towards the story of Esther a lot.

I’m so happy to hear that the revival meetings in college campuses are continuing! This latest one was at West Virginia University. If like me, you are wondering how they choose which schools to go to; the students at the university have to invite the group and also help coordinate with their college administration to host the event. As I am praying for my daughter’s college, this is something that I will now pray for.
If you ever attend a revival meeting, please be aware that you might get delivered from your addictions and physical suffering in a supernatural way. If that happens to you or someone you know, please give them a warning about this spiritual principle so that they don’t become worse off. This is probably the best message that I have ever heard on this serious warning by Jesus and documented on Matthew 12.
“When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. “Then it says, ‘1 will return to the house I left. When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. “Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation.” -Matthew 12:43-45
Here is the message on this subject:
I heed Jesus’ warnings very seriously and this is one of the reasons why I fill my mind continually with the word of God and keep myself rooted in the body of Christ, the church. Satan and his demons are like the classic bullies. They like to attack the easy ones like the loners. If you have a tight group of siblings-in-Christ, you will always be safer and can win against the enemy’s attacks against you and your family. If you are a loner then you don’t have a chance. You will lose. Perhaps this is why there are few victories in the modern church; so many of us in the modern church are not rooted in. You can change that for yourself and your family. Keep yourself and your family members safe by reading the Bible, obeying the Bible principles as best as you can, and by being firmly committed to a church through small, community groups and by providing your services in the church.
I remember years ago, the Holy Spirit said to me that if I ever don’t sense Jesus, then go find one of his servants and help them out. Jesus will be there. That’s a good, practical advice. Fortunately, all the churches have amazing opportunities to serve the community and their people. My church is always looking for more helpers.
“If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.” – John 12:26 (NKJV)

By the way, I really like Dave Ramsey and his advice about personal finances. If you haven’t heard from him yet, please download his podcast or get his books. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-ramsey-show/id77001367
I wish I heard about him before I started to make money in my 20s. I lost a lot of money in the stock market in my mid-20s. Mid to late 1990s was the internet boom and there was irrational exuberance and excessive speculations in the stock markets. It was a very costly and painful lesson that I won’t ever forget. 😣 Here’s a good recent post from Dave Ramsey on his Facebook:
“The goal isn’t to give your kids an easy life. It’s to give them the tools to build a great one. Many parents spend their time making sure their kids never struggle. They shield them from failure, hand them everything, and clear every obstacle out of their way. But life doesn’t work like that. One day, your kids will leave your house and face the real world—a world that doesn’t hand out participation trophies. If they haven’t learned responsibility, discipline, and work ethic, they’re going to struggle. And if they don’t know how to handle money, they’re going to be broke. That’s why I always say, “More is caught than taught.” Your kids are watching how you handle money. If they see you swipe a credit card every time you want something, they’ll think debt is normal. But if they watch you save, budget, and live below your means, they’ll learn how to win with money before they ever make their first paycheck. The best thing you can do for your kids isn’t to make their life easy. It’s to teach them how to handle challenges, work hard, and make wise financial decisions. Because if you don’t teach them, the world will—and the world is broke.”
Below are women’s conferences and events that I’ve heard about if anyone is interested:
