ļ»æHello everyone. Iāve been looking to see if I could find my experience when visiting France. Since my family visited France in the summer of 2014, I realized that I didnāt write it down. My prayer ministry started in fall semester of 2016. Instead I came across a dream that I had about an angel and I documented it below. Please read it below; after reading the spiritual warfare that I had in France. Viva la France! š«š·
Though this happened to me in 2014, I remember the experience vividly because it was quite painful. My family rented a beautiful chateau in the countryside of the Lombardy region of France. (It was through the VRBO rental website for travelers.)
Though the chateau was beautiful and newly renovated, as soon as I went in I felt weird and not right. I donāt normally have nightmares but that first night I had the most horrific nightmare. I was so scared. I think I woke up by 4am. In my very long quiet time in the morning; I immersed myself with the word of God in the Bible and prayed for Godās protection over me and my family, and for my peace.
Our family was out all day touring the area and eating dinner out. On our second night in the chateau, again I had the most horrific and terrifying nightmare. When I asked my husband and the kids how they slept, they said they slept fine and didnāt have any bad dreams.
I donāt remember exactly the cause but my husband and I had a humongous fight later on in that afternoon in the chateau. It was so bad that I stormed out of the chateau to cool off and walked around the streets. I have learned that when I become that angry, then I need to walk away before I say anything worse. (I have learned that words have power and consequences. Whenever you are angry, please go to God first before any human beings, even your therapist and best friend. Vent and pour out your heart to God first and wait for His guidance. He will help you. Itās a SOS š moment so God scoops in right away to help you out.) God blessed me with His love and comfort and told me to go back to the chateau. My husband and I reconciled our differences.
I slept peacefully that evening. Praise God. In the next morning during my quiet time, I was given insight to ask for prayers. And so I emailed a few of my trusted mentors and mature friends at church to pray for me and my family. I told them that this chateau is creepy and that Iāve had horrible nightmares from day one, and that my husband and I had a huge fight too. They immediately emailed me back that they will be praying for me and my family. They have experienced enough to know that demons are for real and so, they didnāt doubt my discernment that Iām being spiritually attacked and this chateau was possibly hosting demons.
In just an hour or so later, the owner of the chateau came by and asked if I had any questions. I asked him to show me how to use the washer and dryer in the cellar. That cellar had stone walls and was dark and creepy, though everything was new and modern. As we were chatting, the owner was telling me about the history of this region and the chateau. He hesitated as if he was wondering to share a secret. He looked at me intently in the eyes, and then informed me that this chateau was a headquarter for the Nazis during WWII. Oh my goodness! š± Now it all made sense. I had no idea that the Nazis occupied France during the war.
I immediately emailed my prayer partners and informed them of this revelation and asked them to keep on praying for me and my family. We had a week long rental and we paid a lot of money for the chateau too. Rest of our stay in the chateau and touring the region went well and smoothly. And I no longer had any nightmares. Still I was very happy and relieved when we were done staying there. š
As summer approaches and you are renting apartments and homes, please be mindful that some places can be hosting more than you. It can also be hosting demons. If you have horrible nightmares and get into big and intense fights with your travel companions; please reach out to me and other trusted friends and leaders in your church for prayers. Spiritual attacks need to be dealt with spiritual weapons. The weapons that we have are the prayers of the saints (thatās us who believe in Jesus Christ and living in obedience to Him) and the word of God in the Bible.
Meds like sleeping pills can help you only to fall asleep but not the demons harassing you while sleeping. Once I knew that this was a demonic situation I was in my best behavior š since I was praying constantly and watching my heart and speech, which is always a blessing for my family.
If anyone needs help with falling or staying asleep, first try natural remedies and routines that are shared by sleep experts. I donāt have any trouble falling asleep but sometimes when I wake up to use the bathroom, I have trouble going back to sleep because my mind gets bombarded with worries. After half an hour, I get up to get my phone and ear buds. Audio Bible podcasts are great. I like this sleep podcast since itās about half an hour long. Iām out and sleeping by the end of the podcast. Or you could try soft hymn and worship music too. That has worked for me as well.

I discovered that demons hate the word of God and worship songs. It must sound like ānails on the chalkboardā for them. Turn an audio Bible or worship music all night long as you are sleeping. š“ Demons will eventually give up harassing you. Demons are classic bullies. You have to fight back and not give up. Bring in fellow saints into your fight too. Like the classic bullies, they run away when they see that you mean business and you will not back down.
Please donāt watch horror movies. The images that you see in these movies will hurt you when you are engaged in spiritual warfare. Demons are for real. Horror movies only fabricate their powers to make you freeze with fear. Remember that demons are classic bullies – you have to fight back. Why help the bullies by making them look bad and big in your mind?! You will certainly lose before the battle begins.

I hope my experiences and stories help you. I share these stories so you can learn them less painfully than I did. Please make good relationships with your church community so that you will not be fighting alone during an attack.
Below is a dream that I had about an angel. I shared this dream with my church pastors and staff members in 2018. Please read and consider this dream. I rarely remember my dreams and so I get excited when I do.

Subject: Sharing my dream
Good morning! Iād like to share this dream I had today and please ponder/pray about it.
Our Tuesday group prays regularly that God will send many of His angels to our church to help us with His Kingdom work.
In my dream, I saw an angel intently looking at a staff member who was busy with her office work. He was looking at her for his work assignment because he has been sent to our church to help. He was perplexed why she is not releasing him to his assignment!
Please do pray with someone for few minutes everyday at church and release the angels to their assignments for the day. Pray for yourself and your work. Iām not sure if angels can read our minds, so say your prayers audibly even if itās soft.
I was very surprised to dream this. Perhaps angels need our prayers to activate their work assignment. š¤
You can send them sometimes to the Jewish people in our area to continually soften their hearts and minds to Jesus Christ and Christianity. š
FYI – Please know that many have been tremendously blessed by the wonderful weekly sermon notes. I know they require great work and time. I was prompted to print out the sermon notes from Ruth series and give to my mother-in-law who is Jewish. I was surprised that she read them all in couple of days! She really appreciated the history and insights. She didnāt mention about Jesus genealogy portion but thatās okay. Please pray for her heart and mind to be open. Thank you!
