Mega truck analogy + Deliverance ministries + Sovereignty

Hello everyone. Below is a mega truck analogy that I was given when I joined my church many years ago. Like I said before, the church community that the Holy Spirit places you in is like your home military base. Do your part in helping and protecting it. For me, it is in prayer and intercession ministry. I’ll keep at it until the Commander-in-Chief, that’s our Jesus relieves me from my post.

Many times, the enemy shouts lies at me that our prayers are doing nothing and to just give up. For me, it helps a lot to hear stories from reputable believers and teachers who testify about the power of prayer and intercession.

John Ramirez is one of them. On his website he wrote, “If There’s One Weapon Satan Fears Most, It’s PRAYER!”

John Ramirez was a head warlock in the NYC metro area. He made his money by selling his supernatural services to cast curses, and other ways to destroy and influence people. As occultism has become mainstream in America; it is imperative that we do not put our heads in the sand about this. Don’t you want to know if whatever is ailing you or your loved ones is of an unholy and sinister force? As mental illnesses are on the rise across our country; I think it’s very foolish to not learn about these things. You don’t have to be a frontline fighter like John Ramirez but you should at least know how to stay safe and not open yourself to demonic portals by accident. And if you have, to know what to do to close that portal door for you and your loved ones. It’s by prayer and fasting, and perseverance. Be patient since it can take a while especially if you’re the only person who is an obedient believer in your family.

This is another story that I just heard. This person, Ken Fish does deliverance ministry and he shares his experiences and stories on this podcast interview. You don’t have to agree with his views and opinions but you should listen to his stories. I see people like him as the skilled “surgeons” in a hospital. If the church is a hospital then there are many kinds of skills and services available in a good and efficient hospital. Some are doctors who work in the surgery unit. In case you need supernatural surgery, I am not a surgeon. I don’t have the training. I don’t think all churches have a surgical unit so ask around for the good ones nearby you. You might need to travel farther away for a good surgery unit. Then your local church can be the “nurses and the physical therapists” to help you as you are recovering.

Please ponder this very good quote by a famous war strategist.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.” – Sun Tzu, The Art of War

When you hear stories, then you will learn practically, and it will dovetail nicely with your Bible studies; which I hope that you are doing daily and diligently. It’s equivalent to taking a shower every day. Please do stay in there showering for at least 20-30 minutes per day.

If you are on a yearly Bible reading plan, then we are currently reading about King David and his great fall into the temptation of lust. Every time I read this portion of his story I wish that I can travel back in time to warn him. In this message by Pastor Carter, he does just that but it’s for us. Please hear his message:

For most women, we may not struggle with lust but I think we struggle more with unforgiveness. Here is a good testimony of forgiving a very deep church wound. Please read his story.

This is a great article about how to finish well in your faith journey. Please read, ponder and pray for yourself to finish well in your faith journey. I’m 52 years old. Sometimes I wonder how the heck I’m going to do this for many more years left…one day at a time with likeminded prayer warriors aka friends alongside me. It’s not possible to finish well solo.

To finish this on a lighter note, I’m sure you have heard about Sovereignty winning the Kentucky Derby race. If you haven’t seen the race, here is the link to watch the intense two minute race. Sovereignty comes out of nowhere from the back and wins the race! He is number 18. The jockey is a Christian and gave glory to Jesus Christ after the race. 😃Perhaps Sovereignty winning the race is an indication that God is coming in power again to His people…I really hope so!

I came across this lady’s website recently. If you are into horses, please check out her blogs and books. I read a few blogs and they are very good. 😊

Mega Truck – Mega Church

Four or five years ago I remember stopping at a red light. Then this huge mega-truck pulls up next to me. My Honda Accord felt so puny standing next to this mega truck. Once the light turned green, I sped off and looked back on my rear view mirror. I saw that the mega-truck barely accelerated forward. It must’ve been heavily loaded. I smiled to myself, “hee-hee”. Suddenly at that moment, the Holy Spirit said to me, “A small church will get to the accident site first but their resources are limited. A big church will take longer to get there but when they get there, they have A LOT more to offer.” Wow, I didn’t expect this! God knew that I was thinking about looking for a smaller church. In college I went to a very small church, at most 100 members. This was my own private thought that I didn’t even talk to Him about yet. Ever since that incident I knew that I was supposed to stay at my mega-church. We have flaws like everyone else but I do love my mega-church. 🙂

9/8/2016 – This week I saw the mega-truck again when I was praying in a vision. The truck was stalled on the side of the road because it had a flat tire. I just knew that the enemy did this. There was flurry of activities to get the tire fixed – unloading the heavily loaded truck, people moving everywhere and on their phones trying to get help, confusion and concern, etc. Then I saw a small group of women surrounding the flat tire area, holding hands and praying. Suddenly the flat tire was no longer flat! It was divinely fixed! In that moment I knew that my new women’s prayer group is to function as prayer warriors for our mega-church.

We have our first meeting next Tuesday. I’m super excited to get this group finally started! It’s amazing that only few months ago I didn’t really care to start this group but simply obeyed God by saying yes. Now, I’m super excited! This reminds me of this verse:

Philippians 2:13 (AMP)
[Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.
