Hello friends. I’ve been thinking a lot about the parents who lost their children in the Halloween tragedy that happened in South Korea in 2022. Please read below my email message and let us pray for them. I believe they are suffering immensely and they need our prayers. 🙏

Yesterday I was reflecting on a Kenny Rogers’ love song that was given to me in the beginning of my faith journey nearly 15 years ago. The Holy Spirit whispered to my soul that the lyrics will resonate with me more and more through the years. It’s been nearly 15 years and I cannot imagine how to live life without Jesus. I pray that you will understand as I do as time passes by in your faith journey.

Hello ladies! There are quite a few resources shared below. I hope and pray that these will give you greater wisdom and guidance to help you make the right decisions as the world gets darker and more difficult.
1. This message by Dr Charles Stanley is about obedience to God. Sometimes it is unclear what is the right thing to do. When I started to attend church on Sundays and a women’s prayer group on Thursdays, my husband was very nervous about my sudden and intense involvement, and he thought I joined a religious cult. He asked me to not go to church so often, and to stop waking up so early to do who knows what – I was praying and reading the Bible. I earnestly prayed about his concern and request. However, it was made very clear to me that I’m to continue in my daily, early morning quiet time and to attend church two times per week if it doesn’t interfere with my family commitment and responsibility. Dr Charles Stanley talks about the delicate situation between obeying God and pleasing your family. If you are also in this dilemma, please listen to this message. 2. I’m going on year 12 of praying for the salvation of my family members. Many of you are praying too, perhaps feeling bad for me that it’s taking so long. I’ll take your mercy prayers! Keep the prayers going up for my family. Here is a great message about persevering in prayers. 3. This message is excellent too. With hardly anyone in our local area churches receiving healing from deadly diseases despite much prayers, I feel like I should just stop praying for their healing. I can tell I have become jaded and hardened about praying for their healing. If you can also relate, then please listen to this message and hear what pastor Carter Colon of TSC has to say about it. I don’t have the right answers but like Mary and Martha, I have not gone anywhere and when Jesus comes to our area, I will run to meet him where he is.

5. Since Diwali is a big Hindu holiday and many of our neighbors, friends and colleagues follow Hinduism, please learn more about this day and also read what Christians do in countries where Hinduism is the dominant religion. Let’s take guidance from them.
(I’ve researched Hinduism but for me it felt like Greek mythology and personally, reincarnation has no appeal to me.)
6. I’m sure you have heard about the great Halloween tragedy in South Korea. Though I became a USA citizen, Korea is my birth country and so my heart hurts when they are suffering. Please pray 🙏 for them. Thank you for caring and praying. I can’t imagine the pain and grief of losing their children in such a way.

7. Like I shared in an earlier email, ever since I became a prayer group leader in 2016, I have experienced the effects of more demonic activities in the month of October leading up to Halloween. Now I enter October with my eyes wide open and I am on high alert all month. It is exhausting but it is what it is. We are almost there to November 1. Please keep praying for all your Christian leaders, friends and family. Please remember to pray for me and my family extra this month too. Thank you so much for your prayers.
(Today, I’m less afraid of Halloween and the month of October. Therefore I’m less exhausted since I’m less anxious. Praise Jesus! Today I know that if demons were to attack me or my family, they will face an army of God’s angels and prayer warriors to counterattack them. Joining God’s family is similar to joining a military family. As you know the Bible more, grow stronger spiritually and experience more, discipline yourself for godly living which makes you more peaceful and powerful; then there’s a confidence that arise within and there’s less fear even when there’s a demonic attack or threat. Instead of running away or cowering in fear, you will say “bring it on”. Plus, there’s always bounty left after the battle is over and won. As a child of God, you should win if you’re following the rules of battlefield. They are all in the Bible. If you are losing more battles than winning then there’s something not right in your defense or theology/beliefs which are your offensive weapons. Don’t despair…it’s okay. Just keep going, stay faithful and humble, stay close to Christians who are winning battles ahead of you. NEVER, EVER isolate yourself. That’s the surest way to lose and you put yourself and your loved ones in danger.)
A member of our group shared this message on why Halloween is a dangerous holiday. In high crime neighborhoods, Halloween is a night of mayhem and higher crimes. If you live in these neighborhoods, please go home before dark. That’s what my family used to do – my parents closed their retail stores earlier and we would all be home before dark. No one went trick-or-treating in these neighborhoods. Even as a teenager, I’d always go home earlier on Halloween.
(If you live in safer neighborhoods then it’s tempting to go out to Halloween parties. If your children and grandchildren are going out for Halloween then please pray extra for them and that they will be protected from demonic temptations and mayhem such as what happened to the young people in South Korea. 🇰🇷 When they attend parties, please warn them to not participate in games like ouija boards, tarot cards, fortune telling, etc. I played ouija board a couple of times in high school and it opened up a demonic portal. I wish someone would have warned me. Out of nowhere I started to fantasize about suicide. It’s a good thing that I learned about hell from a gospel tract handed out by a street evangelist. The concern about hell and not certain where I would go kept me from doing anything foolish and impulsive as a teenager. From my experience, playing with an ouija board opens up demonic portals. Satan’s only mission is to kill, steal and destroy you. Never ever forget that. Stay safe and always stay close to God’s family. I’ve been rooted in my church for nearly 15 years. Until God gives me new instructions that’s my local military base and I will support them as much as I can. Please don’t leave a church without much prayers, counsel from mature believers, and clearance from God. He is your Commander-in-Chief, so obey Him.)
