Hello friends. I hope everyone is signed up for prayer and fasting in January. Your prayer attendance and fasting do not have to be perfect. Our faith journey is about progress, not perfection.
My church just started. Three times a week, they meet virtually at 6:15am. On Saturdays, they meet in-person at church at 7:30am. I was able to attend our Saturday’s in-person prayer meeting yesterday. I wasn’t sure what to expect since it’s my first time attending in-person for morning prayer. Because of my husband’s discomfort I have to be mindful about in-person church meetings. But I felt compelled to stand up for this event and so I went despite his disapproval. I’m so glad that I went! Our church had a great turnout. As we spent time in silent corporate prayer, I received a vision and prayer verse. I hope it’ll bring you hope and encouragement.
January 3, 2026, 7:30am prayer meeting – vision and prayer received:
Vision:
I saw a galaxy-like vision. The Holy Trinity of God, Son and Spirit is the center and is the Sun ☀️ that gives light, warmth and life. I am one planet 🌏 of many who orbits around the Sun ☀️ and receiving all the good benefits of living life revolving around the Sun ☀️.
There are many, many others outside our solar orbit; and living life in darkness, cold and loneliness. There are many explosions happening around their atmosphere of outer darkness. This causes them to come closer to our orbit. As I pass by I can grab some of them closer to our life-giving orbit that revolves around the Sun ☀️. Some come in right away. Some I will pass by again as I revolve around the Sun ☀️. I don’t have to be anxious if I miss them or I don’t grab them the first time or many other times. I’ll certainly pass through there again and again as I orbit around the Sun ☀️. As the speed of the revolution around the Sun ☀️ increases, the frequency of the encounters will increase as well. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ.
(The knowledge that I’ll revolve around them again brought great relief and peace since I can miss doing/saying something due to my hesitations, doubts and past rejections. Also, if you get too dizzy by the speed of the revolution then just take a break while keeping your eyes on the Sun ☀️ until you get your equilibrium back.)
Prayer and Bible verse given by the Holy Spirit to pray over myself:
1 Chronicles 4:9-10 (ESV)Jabez was more honorable than his brothers; and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him in pain.” Jabez called upon the God of Israel, saying, “Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my border, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from harm so that it might not bring me pain!” And God granted what he asked.
(I personalized this prayer by putting my name over “Jabez”. Also for my spiritual mother, I feel it is the Holy Spirit since He greatly endured in pain for my new birth in Jesus Christ, and trains me in maturity and sanctification, and leads me to do His work on earth.)
A friend of mine shared a video clip of trendy young people dancing and walking into the new year. It was not provocative but fun and wholesome with positive messages about walking into 2026 with God. It is on Facebook if you can see it.

Why am I bringing this up? Because I saw young people dressed like them in my dream in January 2024! Back then skinny jeans were in fashion. And then out of nowhere, the Y2K fashion and its wide pants are trendy. It made me remember my dream. Here is my dream documented on 1/25/24:
High Rooftop Dream
What a dream I had! I want to write it down before I forget.
I was brought up to a very, very high city building, like as high as the NYC Empire State Building or even higher since there were no other buildings that I could see. I was on this building’s rooftop. I saw a few brave or crazy young people on an even higher level – on a billboard that’s attached to the rooftop but on the side. (If they fall off then they will fall to their death). Some were working on putting a new sign on the billboard. It was mostly blank at the moment. One or two were speaking out with a microphone and directing their voices below as if there was a crowd below. I couldn’t hear what they were saying or singing. They looked like young, hip hop Hispanic musicians. I was shaking my head with my mouth open, like an older person when we see young people doing crazy, dangerous things. I was concerned about their safety and falling to their death. I don’t remember seeing any safety harness on them.
I don’t like heights and then started to feel dizzy and lightheaded once I realized how high this rooftop was! The height of the building was so high that we were surrounded by clouds on the rooftop. I went down on the floor and laid down on my back because I really needed stability. I saw some people around me and they were on the floor too. They were of all ages. Some were scared like me realizing the great height of where we were – I’m sure they were on the floor lying down to stabilize themselves too. Some seemed fine with the great height and were walking around normally.
I experienced other minor things in this dream. But it is already escaping me…it’s okay. Maybe this is the only portion that I’m supposed to remember.
I’ll have to pray about this dream more later and tell it to a ministry friend and see what she thinks about it. She has a gift of dream interpretation.
Here is what my friend Jenny texted back later: “This is a powerful dream. I believe God is speaking to you and the intercessors who have been praying for the next generation. God is showing you how He views the laborers who labor in intercession. It is one of the highest divine activities on earth. Read Revelation 5 and 8. Though you may be fearful of the magnitude of the work, you stayed in position and “back” up or support the next gen in prayers. You and your group of intercessors are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses and God’s covering (as in fire by night, cloud by day). There is an open heaven when you all pray.
The younger generation, because of the prayers of the older ones, are able to reach higher heights. They are where your prayers have put them. They are fearless, carrying the new things God is doing in that gen. They have a voice which is opposite to what the young gen is experiencing right now. But, your intercession will set them free so that they can shout out from the rooftop proclaiming God’s goodness. They will be a sign and a wonder to the world.
Keep on interceding, heaven is pleased. The prayers of the righteous have great power, James 5:16.
I believe this dream is an invitation to pray in greater faith. Prayers cause something to happen in the spiritual realm.”
This was a great interview with pastors about the great anxieties in our youth and in the church. They have insights about how to deal with these problems in the church. I can say for myself that these techniques have worked for me. Studying the Bible continuously and learning about heaven and eternity keeps me centered and focused. Bible Recap plan moves faster since it’s a one year plan. I heard all their commentaries last year and I think their recaps are very good. I plan to hear the recaps again this year. Her team of researchers are all female and so I like how they focus on topics that are more important for the women. I also noticed that their recaps are more of the popular or mainstream theological views (meaning most Bible scholars and theologians concluded that way). Whatever your opinions are, I suggest that you keep some theology and Bible information loosely – meaning don’t lose a friendship over it. For example, in Genesis there is a mysterious mention of the Nephilims. Are they fallen angels who took human women as their wives? Greek mythology is full of these characters. I don’t know. Again, please don’t argue and lose a church friend over these things. However, in terms of demons (aka satan and his fallen angels), I believe that they are real and evil, and their goal is to steal, kill, and destroy us. Sometimes movies and TV shows make demons to be complex and appealing but remember that they are fictional stories. When you hear real-life stories from people who opened themselves to demons you will find terrifying stories, and how dangerous they are to us mortals. Only the power of Jesus Christ can save and free those who are possessed. During Jesus’ ministry on earth, he would often deliver people from demonic possessions. You can study these stories in the New Testament books of Matthew, John, Mark and Luke.

I saw both movies and if I was naive and uneducated about demons, I’d be attracted to knowing more about demons.)

Genesis 1:27-28 (WEB)
27 God created man in his own image. In God’s image he created him; male and female he created them. 28 God blessed them. God said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
God created us in His own image. Think about that for a moment. We were created to reflect the image of God Himself! I wonder what the angels thought when they first saw Adam and Eve? What a glorious privilege to be made in the image of the One who knit us together in our mother’s womb!
May we never take this blessing for granted. May we always be in awe that we were created to look just like God. When Jesus came to the earth 2,000 years ago, He sealed the deal by making way for us to be conformed to His image (Romans 8:29) inside and out so that He could be the firstborn of many brothers and sisters.
My prayer today is that we would live in the light of our Father’s original blessing to be fruitful, multiply, and have dominion throughout the whole earth with the knowledge that we were created to look just like our Heavenly Dad.

Father, thank you for creating me in your image and declaring a special blessing uniquely over my life. Help me see myself through the lens of your unconditional love and acceptance. When I look in the mirror today, I pray I will be aware of how much I look like you! Thank you for blessing me with every good and perfect gift that is mine in Christ. I choose to live my life in the light of all your blessings today.
