Hello friends. With all the snow this winter in our area, I recalled a snow storm dream that I had. Since I don’t remember my dreams much and I’m not a very creative person, I find it fun when I receive divine dreams. I guess it makes it easier for me to know that they are divine dreams. Here is my dream from May 2020.
“I had this exciting and fun dream last week and since I cannot stop thinking about it, I’m sure it’s from the Lord so I’ll record it now.
My family was invited to a family member’s bar mitzvah. I don’t know for who but it was an important family member and so it was imperative that we go. For whatever reason we didn’t attend the service portion at the temple. I was totally okay with that since the service part can be a long and boring religious ceremony. Haha. We were in our SUV driving to the party reception. Then the weather turned really bad with lots of snow storms, and the snow quickly accumulated very high. My husband was driving through this weather and despite how dangerous the road conditions were, we knew how important it was to get to the party reception. We drove and drove. We turned into a new street, but we didn’t see a huge pile of snow on that street. Our car plunged deep into the snow piled high all through the street. Our car was completely buried!
Somehow we climbed out of our SUV through the roof window and we continued to walk on foot to the party reception and somehow we knew that it was near. In my dream no one was complaining which was a miracle! We simply knew that we had to get to this party. Finally after some walking, we got to the party reception place, and they were ready for the guests who made it through the snow. I was surprised to see that their entrance was smooth with no snow and the lights inside looked so warm and inviting. Somehow our clothing and our attire were not mangled up by trudging through the snow too. We were party ready! Our fancy outfits, shoes and my makeup and hair were all done too. I woke up as we were walking towards the door to go into the party reception with anticipation and excitement. There were a few men who kinda looked like big bouncers smiling at us as we were approaching the door, and ready to open the door for us. I was really looking forward to the great foods, socializing, dancing and having fun at this extravaganza bar mitzvah party! Yay my family made it! It was a good dream.“
“I follow many ministries, pastors and teachers to learn from. Every so often I listen to Sid Roth’s guest interviews. Their experiences and talks go over my head a lot as I’m listening to his guests share the incredible things that they’ve done and seen in other worldly places. I put the information in my head library and ponder about their stories and experiences.
There was a prophet that appeared at Sid Roth’s show and what he said keeps on coming back to me. He said unusual snow is an indication of God’s judgement to come. This past winter Washington DC had unusual amounts of snow while we in New Jersey had none. I remember how bizarre that was. The prophet said God’s judgement is coming to Washington DC, and the politicians and media will be greatly shaken and the truths will be brought out into the light and revealed to the public. I’ll try to find this interview later.
If unusual snow is an indication of God’s judgement then perhaps in my dream, the snow storm is a metaphor of God’s judgement. This Covid pandemic feels like judgement day for the entire world. Whatever the case, I’m just so glad that my family moved forward through the high snow and we made it to the bar mitzvah party reception. I hope my other family members made it there too.
I wonder if Jesus had a party reception after his bar mitzvah ceremony? Scripture and history indicate that Jesus did something at age 13 like they do now for the Jewish boys. Bar mitzvah is a coming-of-age religious ceremony indicating that now the boy is a man in the eyes of God and he is responsible for the Torah commandments on his own. I’m not sure if they had a big extravaganza party back then for the boys like we do now. Wouldn’t it be so awesome if Father God is about to throw a bar mitzvah party for His Son Jesus and this was the party that my family was going to?! “
(Sorry I’ve been looking but I can’t find it. I don’t even remember which prophet it was. Please check out Sid Roth’s website for incredible guest stories.)

Many times this is my facial expression 😲 when I hear his guests because I’m so surprised by their experiences and stories. This interview that I just heard is incredible. I do not understand why any child would want to join a violent gang. After hearing his story, I understand a little more. I highly recommend hearing his story and to hear the power of intercession and prayer to save someone as dangerous as he used to be. He joined a violent gang in Los Angeles, California at age 11. He wasn’t even recruited. He wanted to be in a gang!
“Mondo De La Vega joined one of Los Angeles’s most notorious gangs, where violence and revenge defined his world. Everything changed after a prayer from his sister where three haunting questions pushed him to question his life.”

I’m reminded that it’s not the size of our faith that matters, but the God who we pray to.
“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh.
Is there anything too hard for Me?”
– JEREMIAH 32:27 (NKJV)
“But Jesus looked at them
and said to them,
With men this is impossible,
but with God all things are possible.”
– MATTHEW 19:26 (NKJV)
Axis ministry offers guidance to Christian parents and caregivers on having difficult conversations. Since divorce is common in the church I thought I’ll share this free resource for your reference. Before anyone initiates a separation, I hope and pray that you will receive much counseling, and prayer support from your church pastors and mature believers. I just learned from studies that the majority of divorces are initiated by women.
“This Conversation Kit is an eight-part video series to help parents who have teenagers and are navigating divorce. From the initial conversation about splitting up to the big questions teens have about their identity, to navigating those early months of figuring out custody and a new world of unknowns, this resource has expert insight and biblical guidance to help teens understand their story and find their identity in Christ through this difficult, emotional time.”

I used to love to watch, as a child and young teen, the show “Little House on the Prairie” after school. I thought Christian dads were like Charles Ingalls. That show made a huge impact on many kids who watched it after school in the 80s. Back then we were not so busy after school as kids are today. TV shows were our babysitters. And they were all decent shows teaching us good values from my memory. I guess I still like to romanticize that if the couple is both Christians then they should be married for life and set a good example for everyone. More than exuberant experiences and miracles, I think young people want to see good, loving marriages close up. That’s what drew me to my college church, and made me stay there and watch.
Next week is the Jewish holiday of Purim. It is based on the book of Esther. I fell in love with her story when I did a bible study using Beth Moore’s study book. It was so good. I highly recommend it.
Here is a 7 day devotional about Purim.
“Esther and the Jewish Holiday of Purim. The book of Esther never mentions God, but His hand is everywhere behind the scenes. Purim commemorates God saving His people from destruction. Discover how God is faithfully involved in your life, even when you least recognize it. You’ll gain courage, strength, and hope from the spiritual lessons we’ll explore in this powerful account of a still-observed Jewish holiday.”

Here’s the Bible link in VOICE. They give you some background information. It’s only ten chapters so you can read it in one sitting. By the way, the ancient Persian empire is today’s Iran. Please pray for their freedom as you read the current news. 🙏https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Esther%201&version=VOICE
If you also have a burden to pray for North Korea, here is a prayer newsletter that I subscribe to from a Korean-American pastor who was imprisoned in North Korea but was miraculously released.

I became a USA citizen when I was a freshman in college. I remember coming down from my college in upstate NY to go to a citizen induction ceremony in NYC. It was a good and positive experience.
I was recently having a conversation with another Christian friend about border and immigration issues. She is also an immigrant who became a USA citizen. As we are navigating through immigration issues, I appreciated this brave church educating us about USA immigration policy, and also giving us insight on what the Bible teaches about this subject. I hope it’ll help you too.
Christian leadership is really hard work. Even if you disagree with what your pastors say from the pulpit, please give them grace and respect. Pray for several days before you email or speak with them. There is no urgency but much to lose in your haste. I hope I’ve only encouraged my pastors. I frequently pray for them, their marriages and children/grandchildren in our prayer meetings.
Please hear this good interview with Christian pastors on how difficult their job is right now, and so you will know and have more empathy for your pastors.
“The cultural moment we’re in isn’t just tense — it’s a full convulsion, and it’s landing in your church every Sunday. In this emergency panel episode, Ed Stetzer, Adam Mesa, and Sharon Hodde Miller debate when to speak up, when to be silent, how to deal with fallout, and how to pastor people in a deeply divided age.
This is the conversation many pastors are desperate to have but afraid to start.”
With much prayer and in the love of Jesus Christ 🙏❤️
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. – 1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV)
