Hard-Easy + Things to remember in the dark (lessons from Joseph) + Hurting Moms, Mending Hearts + Evan’s future career

Hello friends! I hope that you are doing well. I’ve been thinking a lot about this concept called “hard-easy” that I learned from my husband’s business coach several years ago and I believe that I should share this concept with you.

What would hell and heaven be like + Joshua prayer group + Rapture and Second Coming of Jesus

Hello friends! I hope you and your family are doing well. This summer has flown by as expected, which makes me think about the brevity of life.

Pastor RT Kendall recently delivered messages about hell and heaven. I’ve heard plenty of sermons and even read couple of books about heaven and listened to many testimonies of those who’ve been to heaven. They are always so encouraging. However, Jesus spoke more about hell than heaven during his ministry on earth, to warn us. Therefore I think every Christian should at least hear one biblical message warning us about hell. It is a dreadful topic but this knowledge about hell keeps me from getting into trouble by staying away from willful sin and pride; and staying close to Jesus Christ and his people in the church. Here is the link to his messages delivered at TSC:

Rich, Young Ruler + Science and God + Alice Cooper + Sound of Freedom: Interview by Christian Psychologist

Rich, young ruler walking away from Jesus.

I listened to these podcasts recently and I thought how full of wisdom they are. Please give these a listen and pray about sharing them with the young people in your life or those who are still on the fence about their wholehearted commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord. It is very difficult to truly give lordship to Jesus Christ for many reasons. In my experience, it is a daily decision to submit to Jesus’ lordship. This is the main reason why I start my day in the morning with prayer, repentance and reading God’s word.

My Testimony + News from North Korea’s Underground Church + Stormie Omartian’s Dad + Brevity of Time + World Youth Day

Hello friends! I hope and pray that you are all doing well. Summer is sure going fast. Speaking about going fast, our lives are also going fast. This past week I came across two news stories of women in NJ who died at age 71. Since I’m 51, I thought “wow that’s only 20 years away from me.” Whatever years that we have leftover, no one knows except God. One certain thing is that we all will die. I pray that rather than building your house on the sinking sands of this world structure; you are building your house upon the only foundation that holds and matters eternally – Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

How to share the gospel + Billy Graham’s interviews with Johnny Carson and Woody Allen + Case for Christ + Disappointment with God + New Heaven and Earth + Bible reading plan

I hope these resources can help you to strengthen your faith and to share your faith with others. I’m generally looking for opportunities to share my faith with others. I’m not always very brave about sharing but we all must try. Navigators’ ministry offered a very nice and simple guidance on how to explain to someone about the gospel of Jesus Christ and steps to salvation. Please read this short article and download their pdf sheet too.

Sound of Freedom film + Dealing with rebellious children + Awe of God + Prayer guide on how to pray for your unsaved loved ones

Quote from the Pilgrim’s Progress novel

This morning I woke up with a thought and I’m jotting it down before I forget. Basically it’s a thought that going uphill towards heaven is hard work. While going downhill towards hell is easy. Why did I wake up with this thought from the Holy Spirit? Because I believe it’s from this sharing that I wrote to my prayer group ladies yesterday. Thank you Lord Jesus for this wisdom. 🙏

Sound of Freedom Movie + Online Safety Guide for Parents + The Family Secret + Dr. Francis Myles: Restraining Orders Against Demons

There is a movie that came out this week on July 4th about a true story of a man who started this organization that rescues children from sexual trafficking. Please check out the movie trailer.

Here is a short interview of the actor who plays the lead role in the movie “Sound of Freedom”. Please let us pray that this movie will have far-reaching impact to combat sexual trafficking of children and vulnerable people worldwide. This quote in the article stands out to me: “The only true antidote to spiritual warfare, Caviezel explained, is a deepening dependence on God.” – https://www.faithwire.com/2023/06/27/more-afraid-of-the-devil-than-they-are-of-god-jim-caviezel-offers-warning-to-modern-day-christians/

Reflecting on Joy

JOY was the word that was given to me by the Holy Spirit for my word in the past academic year; and Zephaniah 3:17 was the Bible verse for my word. I wasn’t really sure what it meant since I was looking at the word from my perspective and thought I’ll have more joy – perhaps that my circumstances will change and I’ll be happy about the changes. I was a little perplexed why this Bible verse was given for my word of the year. Now that the academic year is over, I think I understand why.
