I shared this testimony mainly because of a member’s son Jason who just became saved. He’s a millennial and struggles greatly with depression and loneliness. I told my friend to please share this warning with her son so he gets serious about his faith and becomes rooted in the church and word of God; or else he will become worse off. After sharing I wondered later in the day if I was too strict in my warning. This morning as I was reflecting on my experiences as a youth; nope I needed to be strict because these things are for real and the enemy’s destruction is for real too. We are in a war and I pray that my church will start warning their members more about these spiritual principles in order to protect themselves and be victorious too.

Collegiate Day of Prayer is this Thursday! Please adopt a college campus to pray for. I just signed up to commit to praying for my daughter’s college. There are 40 prayer points in their guide, and last year after the corporate day of prayer, I went through each prayer point once per week. If you’d like to join us in doing this, please join our Indiana University Praying Parent Facebook group that I manage. It was very meaningful to pray together slowly and methodically on each prayer point once a week. See if your local colleges or your alumni college is being covered in prayer by anyone. With the revival in Asbury University spreading to other Christian universities, this ministry that I subscribe to sent out this weekly newsletter on “What is Christian Revival?” It was a very good article on what revival is and should produce in believers and church community. If you haven’t heard about the revival of 1970s in the western coast of USA, please watch this movie trailer. I heard from a pastor who was saved in this revival and who was in the team that was helping it to spread to the rest of the country; he said he doesn’t really understand what happened but that it stopped abruptly in Indiana. And that’s where my daughter attends college. Hmm…perhaps this is why she is there. Our Indiana University Praying Parent group was created last year on Facebook. Antisemitism has been going up tremendously in the world and in the USA. As I was looking for the next chapter of the praying woman book, I came across this old dream of mine which I shared with my prayer groups. As the end of the church era approaches, it is predicted in bible prophecies that the Jewish people will be greatly persecuted again. During the holocaust, the Nazis killed 1/3 of the Jews in the world or about 6 million Jews. Behold Israel’s Amir Tsarfati predicts that once the church is removed from the earth prior to the seven year Great Tribulation; he believes that 2/3 of the Jews will be killed during this time period before Jesus returns. He is a pre-trib believer, meaning he believes the church will be spared from the 7 years of the Great Tribulation. I have been led to study the book of Amos during the January break before we resume back to our bible study group at church. This song fits perfectly with my study on the book of Amos. I don’t generally have dreams and visions but last Wednesday during our prayer meeting I had a vivid vision. I have been thinking a lot about this vision. Once I write it down I will share it with you. I believe it’s a message for all of us.

Yesterday I was at my township’s committee meeting and we have a new member there who is now a supervisor of curriculum at the k-8 school district where my kids went. She was telling me about how much the new principal and vice-principal are so great for the school community. Gosh it was so encouraging to hear this news since our local MIP group has been praying so much for this one school since 2016. Another incredible information that I also learned is that there are 444 students at the school! I wrote a blog about this number “444” several years ago. I recently shared a personal story below to my prayer group ladies about the importance of studying the Old Testament books to stay focused and faithful to our calling. I don’t think it’s possible to be victorious in our lives without the knowledge of the Old Testament stories and teachings. Please educate especially the young people since they are at most risk of falling away.
