Bible reading plan + Hell is no joke

Hello friends. It’s a new year and many churches are starting a Bible reading plan to read through the Bible together in a year. I know that my church has started theirs. If you have never read through the entire Bible before, please jump in with a group and do it together with them. I suggest you have one accountability partner too. There are 66 books in the Bible. I’ve been studying the holy scripture nonstop for the last 13 years. I am convinced more than ever that this is the word of God for humanity. It’s truly a holy book and it’s “Basic Information Before Leaving Earth”.

2024 – From the prophets + Gift of prophecy

I used to be very opposed to listening to the modern day prophets because they reminded me too much of fortune tellers that my mom used to rely on throughout her life. I blamed the fortune tellers for turning my mom away from depending on the Lord and forfeiting the true blessings and protection of following God wholeheartedly. During the pandemic lockdown, I slowly started to open my mind to listening to those who claimed to be prophets. Some were bizarre, and some had weightiness to their words and they were heavy and thought-provoking. I came to the conclusion that just like I carefully evaluate the spiritual fruit of any pastor-teachers that I listen and learn from; I must also do likewise to the modern-day prophets. Just like a pastor-teacher, a prophet makes mistakes and they need our prayers and encouragement too. Here are two seasoned and tested prophets that I have found to be well grounded if you want to read what they are saying about 2024.

SoCal

My family is currently visiting Southern California. My husband has been dreaming about moving here for years and now that Evan is a junior in high school, he is more urged to move out here by the time Evan leaves for college. My husband can work remotely from anywhere. He likes SoCal because the roads have a bike lane and the weather is perfect all year round for road cycling. I’m torn about this move since we both have elderly parents who will need us more as they age. Interestingly when I pray about this, it appears that God is directing our move to SoCal.

My dream and the Jewish people

I have been looking and looking for my sequel message to “Why would God rob you?!” to share with my prayer group but I still haven’t found it. It was written before I started this blog so that means I have to go through my old email messages. Oh boy that will take a while. In my searching, I came across this dream message from 2018. I rarely remember my dreams and so when I do remember them, I am very careful to document the dream right away and pray about it too. God speaks to us in our dreams so please don’t ignore your dream, but submit the dream to the Lord in your prayer time and ask for wisdom and clarity to know the message behind it. Some dreams are very straightforward. Please read below my dream from September 2018.

444 + Unusual clouds in NJ

I’ve been trying to find the sequel to my message about what happened once I took over the control of the “steering wheel“ of my life in my mid-20s to share with my prayer group, instead I came across this old message. I remembered it again the other day when I was out holiday shopping and went into a teen store and saw a t-shirt. I don’t know if you’ve noticed this recently but many teenagers are wearing necklaces that say “444”. When I asked a few teens on why they are wearing a necklace with these numbers, they all told me that it is a number symbolizing the presence of angels. Well, now they are selling T-shirts with these sequences of numbers!

Here is what I wrote documenting about this sequence of numbers “444”. I wrote this on January 2018.

Imodium

Last week my good ministry friend was praying for me – she has much experience praying prophetically. It’s my understanding that when someone prays prophetically, that they are speaking specifically with an insight or knowledge from God about the person and situation.

It was funny but my friend kept on saying “Imodium.” She said to pray about it and judge what this means for me. I thought it was a bit ridiculous and so I didn’t think about it again. Maybe I prayed once asking God that if it meant anything to tell me what it meant. If you are not aware what Imodium is, it’s an over the counter medication to treat diarrhea. It’s an anti-diarrhea medicine.

“Why would God rob you?!” + The Nativity Story + Ridiculous Answers to Prayer

I was speaking with a university student recently who is pondering much about her future career and path after graduation. I remembered how much this life planning after college consumed my mind during those young adult years. I encouraged my young friend to seek God, listen to His voice and receive His peace, and to stay in the Christian community. I also reassured her that God has the best plans for her life since He knows what’s best for her with all the gifts, talents and passions that He has already deposited within her. Speaking with her made me think about an old message that I wrote long time ago. I wasn’t sure when I wrote it but I found it! hope this old message encourages you today.

I wrote this message in July 2012. It brought back intense memories for me once I realized this truth – “Why would God rob you?!”
