Security Guard Vision

This promise is for our time on earth. We don’t need hope in heaven. There is no future in eternity (I think).

Monday was my Bible study group’s last meeting for the semester and in our meeting we all take turns to praise and pray after our Bible study discussion. While the other ladies were praying I saw this vision in my mind that I’d like to share with you. Please read my vision and ponder it.

Prayer update on the hearing

I’m so sad to tell you that our principal was not reinstated as principal of the high school after his public hearing on Monday night. He and his lawyers fought a good fight and defended very well.

Whenever I get severely disappointed after much efforts and prayers, I go to the chapters in the Old and New Testament of Habakkuk 3 and John 6. I question God on why did you even bother and ask me to work and pray so hard. It’s okay to pour out your heart, be honest about your disappointments and even ask “why” questions to God. What’s not okay is to walk away from your faith or deliberately sin in that moment of anger and despair.

Donaldson Hearing + Fear of the Lord is Clean + Blocks to Healing + Hearing God’s Voice

The last two months have been really, really busy for me as I have been called by the Holy Spirit to assist with the principal situation in our high school. The public hearing is scheduled for this coming Monday, 5/15 evening. There has been much media coverage on this situation. I ask for your continued prayers and for favorable outcome for our high school community.

Esther: Purim + Lord, Take Me Deeper Into Your Word

Since our ladies prayer group is called the Esther prayer group, I want to share that this past Tuesday was the Jewish Purim day. It’s a religious holiday to celebrate and remember the time when Esther saved her Jewish people through her bravery and courage. Here’s a short devotional about Esther. The main takeaway is that we must fear God more than we fear people. https://www.ifcj.org/learn/holy-land-moments/daily-devotionals/fear-god-more-than-people

Greg Laurie’s Testimony + Jesus Revolution + Spiritual Abuse + Bent, Not Broken + Yadafactor

There are a lot of resources that I’m sharing here. Please try to get to them all, especially the one about identifying a spiritual abuser. My hunch is that this Asbury University revival is spreading and it will eventually come to our area too; only because so many people in our area including us have been praying for a revival to happen in NJ. We’ve been praying for a long time too. I want all of us to be forewarned about “wolves in sheep’s clothing” because from my readings over the years, these religious wolves come to revivals for their own opportunities. I want us to be prepared to spot them and forewarned.

Spiritual Warning from Matthew 12 + Gift of Tongues + Just Love

I shared this testimony mainly because of a member’s son Jason who just became saved. He’s a millennial and struggles greatly with depression and loneliness. I told my friend to please share this warning with her son so he gets serious about his faith and becomes rooted in the church and word of God; or else he will become worse off. After sharing I wondered later in the day if I was too strict in my warning. This morning as I was reflecting on my experiences as a youth; nope I needed to be strict because these things are for real and the enemy’s destruction is for real too. We are in a war and I pray that my church will start warning their members more about these spiritual principles in order to protect themselves and be victorious too.

Collegiate Day of Prayer on 2/23 + Thoughts on the Asbury University Revival

Collegiate Day of Prayer is this Thursday! Please adopt a college campus to pray for. I just signed up to commit to praying for my daughter’s college. There are 40 prayer points in their guide, and last year after the corporate day of prayer, I went through each prayer point once per week. If you’d like to join us in doing this, please join our Indiana University Praying Parent Facebook group that I manage. It was very meaningful to pray together slowly and methodically on each prayer point once a week. See if your local colleges or your alumni college is being covered in prayer by anyone. If not, please consider helping out with your commitment to pray for this college.
