I sent this email letter to my dad. Please pray for my dad. Thank you so much for your prayers! Hi dad, how are you doing? I hope you are enjoying the warmer weather. You’ve been on my mind past few days. I’ve been praying for you and I felt strongly to share with you my story on why I went back to my faith.
Five years ago I was at my lowest. Although I hid my inner turmoil very well from others, I was severely depressed and I wanted to end my marriage. I was miserable. In my weakness I was very concerned that I could not hold back my anger and rage. I was so scared of hurting the kids, if not physically then worse – with my words.
I called out to Jesus for help because I know he is real and only he can help me with my severe depression, uncontrollable anger and rage. Jesus has, continues to, and will continue to deliver me. I depend on him everyday. It is a very good dependency since Jesus loves me very much and he has the power to save me.
This is my testimony in a very brief version. I pray that you will also experience the love and power of God through Jesus Christ. Simply call out to him and ask for help. He’s always there just waiting for you to ask him. He’s a gentleman so he waits for us.
I’ll always be praying for you to experience the freedom and joy that only God can provide to our aching heart, mind and body.
This is my greatest bible prayer for you:
Ephesians 3:19
May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.
