Hello friends. I was brave enough to hear three more podcasts from the Exorcist Files. I do not watch horror movies but I’ve seen a few in my teen years and their images still affect me in negative ways. Therefore even listening to the Exorcist Files is a huge step forward for me. If you want to listen to what I heard, then below is my review. Each episode taught me A LOT about demonology and how they work.
These two part episodes is a true story of a powerful witch who eventually gets delivered. Though Father Martin helped her in the exorcism; it was the love and firmness of her daughter who refuse to follow in her mother’s footsteps to become a witch, once she became a believer of Jesus Christ in college. Her daughter joined a Catholic group in her college campus. Her mother was very, very angry and started to attack her college friends with spells and curses. The students in the Catholic college group were all having terrible nightmares and night terrors. One day in their weekly meeting as they were talking, they realized that they were all having terrible nightmares. Then the witch’s daughter finally shared with her group and the college priest, what her mom did for a living. Once this was revealed, her college priest took action against the spells and curses.

In part two, that’s where Father Martin is brought in to help. Her mom was literally going crazy as she saw that her daughter wasn’t coming back to her family roots into witchcraft. If her daughter called the local police then I’m sure her mom would have been put into a psychiatric hospital, restrained and heavily sedated with meds., eventually put back out again and perhaps in a worser mental state. Because this is a spiritual warfare; it has to be won by spiritual means. Her daughter was only a baby Christian and she had no idea what to do. But she received very good counsel and connection from her college priest. Father Martin was brought in and he shared in the second episode the details about her mom’s exorcism. It was really incredible. If you saw horror movies from Hollywood then you’ll discover that the process is very different in reality. The exorcism sessions were very orderly and completely controlled by Father Martin. Wow what a priest!

By the way, her mom agreed to the exorcism because she experienced the love and loyalty of her daughter. It reminded me of 1 Corinthians 13 chapter about love. ❤️ Love never fails. Wow what a daughter!

This third podcast that I listened is a recap of their favorite stories from season 2. Wow I learned a lot in here too. One story in particular stood out for me. Father Martin recruited two mature and loyal men from his congregation to assist him in an exorcism. He asked if they have anything to confess and repent of before they go into the exorcism appointment. One man just started an affair outside of his marriage. He was too ashamed to admit it and also didn’t want to disappoint Father Martin. And so he stayed silent and went into the exorcism appointment to help Father Martin. Anyway during the exorcism, the demons did get out of the patient. But then the demons went into the man who was having an affair and helping Father Martin! 😱

In our prayer meetings, we always have a time of reflection and repentance before we make our petitions and requests. We all sin everyday with our actions, words and thoughts. But from my Bible studies over the years, sexual sins are very serious and have very serious implications in the spiritual realm. So make sure you stay in the biblical guidelines for sex in your life to be an effective spiritual warrior for God. And please do not go to any exorcism meeting as a helper until you deal with your sexual or other serious sins first with a pastor or priest; and please receive accountability and support from trusted believers too.
Hearing these stories reminded me of a story that I heard many years ago from Pastor Joel Osteen. An ex-warlock who became a Christian shared his story with Pastor Osteen. He was hired by someone to harass a man. This warlock had extraordinary abilities including leaving his body to do his client’s bidding in the spirit. His spirit went to the home of the man he was hired to harass. He never had any trouble going through walls. But he wasn’t able to get in. When he peered in through a window; he saw that this man was hosting a group of people for a Bible study. He said that he knew who were saved because believers had a glow around them. The man who was hosting the Bible study did not have a glow in the spirit world. The warlock went back to his body and attacked the man at another night. Pastor Joel Osteen was reassuring us that as believers, we are safe from the enemy and that we do have to fear the enemy. That’s easier said than done. 😅
Sometimes, God permits scary, spiritual experiences to open our eyes to demons and teach us about spiritual warfare. I’ve been a reluctant student on spiritual warfare. But I’ve experienced enough to know that prayers, especially corporate prayers are the first line of defense and most effective to combat the enemy. That’s why I am very disciplined in organizing prayer meetings and keeping up the unity in our community group so that our prayers can have great impact in our families, churches and communities.
By the way, if there’s anyone in here consulting with fortune tellers, mediums, astrologers etc, please repent and do not consult with them. You might be doing it for fun or curiosity but as this ex-psychic turned Christian shares; you are opening a demonic door. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself being attacked via depression, severe anxieties, nightmares and other mental illnesses. Pharmaceutical meds and therapy can help you to cope, but if it’s spiritual in nature, then you will have to fight in the spirit for your freedom. “Prayer and fasting” works wonders if you’re interested in finding peace and freedom quickly. Please learn more about this powerful spiritual weapon of “prayer and fasting” for the Christians.
Many of our children are currently studying in colleges and choosing their careers. Some of our young people are choosing a military or law enforcement careers. If you have children or grandchildren going into law enforcement and military careers, I highly suggest that you join a weekly prayer group. This is the best way to protect your children because the dangers that they face are very real and tangible – physically, psychologically and spiritually.
This is a testimony of a Medal of Honor recipient who fought against the Talibans in Afghanistan. His protection during a surprise ambush was miraculous and supernatural. He gives credit to his praying mom who was in a weekly corporate prayer group.
