Hello friends. As I was thinking about what to share with you in this week’s newsletter, I thought I’d share these resources that helped me a lot this past week. I find October to be a tough month. Do you experience that too? God is good and faithful, and a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Since I need His guidance and power even more this month, I am confident that there will be relief and tremendous rewards for me once this month is over. We are halfway through. Woo hoo 🙌!
It’s been a long while since I’ve been spiritually attacked in my physical body. It happened last Saturday afternoon. How do I know it was a spiritual attack? Because it came fast and furious; and it left fast and furious too…once the battle is won. Once you’ve experience one spiritual attack on your body, it’s easy to spot it when it happens again. This attack only lasted two hours but because I was in NYC and far away from home, it was really unnerving. Fortunately I was with my daughter who had common sense to call an uber to rush me home. As we were in the car and driving home, I literally felt the demons coming off me as the car windows were open and the wind breeze was blowing over me. About ten minutes later, I was completely fine and no longer tormented spiritually and physically. When it’s a spiritual attack, the Holy Spirit informed me ten years ago in my first attack that going to the hospital isn’t going to be helpful. You have to fight a spiritual attack with spiritual weapons.
A few hours before the attack, I saw a woman about my age reading this book across the path train seat. I made a mental note to remember the book title to look it up later. Here’s the book if you want to check it out. It’s free since it’s an older book.

I’ve also researched the author, John Eckhardt and heard a few of his sermons. They sound all legit and very good. I also didn’t find any scandals on him or his church in Chicago. You should do your own research on his ministry.
FYI – if you come out of a spiritual attack with more fears, anxieties and confusions, then that means you lost the battle. Then you need to head back to the battlefield after some rest and replay of what you did wrong so that you don’t make the same mistakes, and fight again until victory; or else your descendants will have to fight where you left off. Someone in the family has to. It is what it is.

My mom went to ER last week because she is fighting an infection. Since she doesn’t produce enough white and red blood cells, she needed to be in the hospital for a few days being monitored closely and pumped with antibiotics. Couple of days ago I was woken up at 3am to pray and intercede for her. After I did that, I couldn’t go back to sleep. I found this very long prayer video to listen to. It’s for those who are being woken up 3-6am to pray and intercede. It was very good. I eventually fell asleep listening to the prayers and God’s words. Give it a listen when you are woken up during those early morning hours to pray and intercede. Don’t lose that chance to make a difference.

This Pastor, Philip Anthony Mitchell kept coming up to my attention this week. (His voice reminds me of the transformer robot leader, Optimus Prime. lol.) He is being interviewed by Jennie Allen. She and her team are the ones who have been organizing the revival events in colleges throughout America. It’s a powerful interview with many good insights and stories, and also there’s a warning for the Christians in America. Please give them a listen.
