The bible documents many stories where God communicates through dreams. The famous ones that I can think of now are Daniel and Joseph. Well, recently this happened to me! I’m blessed to sleep well and I rarely remember any dreams. If I do remember I dismiss them as nonsense and I don’t give them any thought. This changed when I saw an interview from Sid Roth’s show. This message came to me at a great time. It may even change the destiny of a young lady! I pray that it does. Continue reading Sweet Dreams

Mega Truck Dream
Four or five years ago I remember stopping at a red light. Then this huge mega-truck pulls up next to me. My Honda Accord felt so puny standing next to this mega truck. Once the light turned green, I sped off and looked back on my rear view mirror. I saw that the mega-truck barely accelerated forward. It must’ve been heavily loaded. I smiled to myself, “hee-hee”. Suddenly at that moment, the Holy Spirit said to me, “A small church will get to the accident site first but their resources are limited. A big church will take longer to get there but when they get there, they have A LOT more to offer.” Continue reading Mega Truck Dream
Courageous
I just finished a book that had a very interesting concept. It’s basically a New Years resolution but it’s only in one word. Therefore it makes you search within and deep to come up with your one word for the year. In the process, your word will be something you ‘need’ in yourself rather than what you ‘want’. The book is called, “One word that will change your life.” by Jon Gordon, Dan Britton and Jimmy Page. It’s a very short concise book – love that! I’ll have to work on my writing being concise yet effective and powerful. Continue reading Courageous
We are sheep.
Summertime is usually a dry period for me because of the lack of small group fellowship. Though I enjoy the less hectic pace and activities, I know that I need to be careful. I become even more convinced after every summer how much regular fellowship with believers is vital and absolutely necessary. After all, Jesus is our Shepherd and he calls us sheep. We are sheep! We are meant to be herded together for our protection and well-being. Continue reading We are sheep.
My seeds
Summertime is usually a dry period for me because of the lack of regular fellowship. Small groups take a break, and long vacations create a longer break from attending church. Though I make time to read God’s word and pray in the morning, regular companionship of believers is very important to enjoying fullness of life and journeying with hope and faith. I can’t understand how lone Christians live life isolated from other believers. I’m sure the victory and joy are missing substantially. Continue reading My seeds
Things to do while waiting.
It’s been five years since I’ve recommitted my life back to Christ. One of the very first thing I’ve asked was that my entire family would know Jesus as Lord and Savior. I thought it’ll happen soon enough. Haha. I didn’t know that I’ll still be waiting. I’ve had my share of frustrations and questions, and trying to understand why it’s taking so long. Now I’m at a place of waiting with quiet contentment. It’s really the smart thing to do. Continue reading Things to do while waiting.
Daddy’s got this.
Through my small group, a beautiful sweet lady came into my life in January. Her friend in our group asked us to pray for her because out of nowhere she became very ill and then got diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer. My heart ached for her very much because she has two children near my kids’ ages. Continue reading Daddy’s got this.
Small group is kinda like a soccer team.
Both my kids are in travel soccer teams. I’ve never played team sports or had any interest in following a popular sports team. But after few years of experiencing travel soccer through my kids, I can’t help but see a parallel between my church small group and my kids’ soccer teams. Let me explain. Continue reading Small group is kinda like a soccer team.
Gift of Obedience
My son’s third grade class was reading and studying autobiographies. For his home writing assignments, I borrowed many books on a wide range of historical figures. It was interesting to see the people he chose to read about. I was surprised to find that I knew so little about many historical people. I read through them all. I find children’s autobiography books easy and good to read! 😁 Continue reading Gift of Obedience
Why would God rob you?!
I used to share with my Christian friends about the revelations that God was giving me – because I had to tell somebody. 🙂 Praise God that they read my long stories and celebrated with me. Praise God that my circumstances isolated me so that I had to write down my stories versus share in person. Recently I felt I should go back and read my old writings. Praise God that they were saved. Here’s an old writing from July 2012. May this old revelation bless you! Continue reading Why would God rob you?!
