Hello friends. There are many people that Iāve been notified recently who are battling severe illnesses or late stage cancers. Iāve listened to many, many successful testimonies of āhealing and miraclesā and thought a lot about this topic in the last 15 years – and my conclusion is that in general, a believerās faith and their support teamās faiths are very important. Why? Because our words are very powerful and influential in the spiritual world. I donāt know fully the hows or the whys; I just know that our words have the power of life or death as the Bible teaches. Therefore, when in doubt and distress, it is best to pause and be quiet. And let those in your faith team who have more faith speak and pray for your behalf. Please read this:

Generally when I donāt have much faith when asking in prayer, I am honest with God and the people who Iām praying for about my lack of faith in an area. For various reasons for me, āhealing and miraclesā is one of them.
If you or someone you care about are sick and suffering in body, I recommend you to hear the guests in the Sid Roth show. They often have guests who are focused on āhealing and miraclesā. Your faith will increase as you hear their stories. Iāve heard enough testimonies to know that oneās faith and the words that are spoken are very important. Itās not about being in denial about the medical conditions but rather, itās speaking Godās word and His promises as you are also receiving good medical care. And just like you are choosy about your medical team when you are going through a major diagnosis, itās also important to be choosy with your faith friends during this critical time. And if your home church has not seen much success in āhealing and miraclesā, itās okay to visit another church who has more success, and receive prayers there. We are all one big family and network in Jesus Christ.
Sid Roth is a Pentecostal ministry and they focus a lot on supernatural topics, and also reaching the Jewish people. Please donāt be offended by their Pentecostalism and beliefs on Isreal to make you to stay away. May I remind you about Naaman who was offended by his servant girlās words to see the prophet Elisha for his leprosy skin disease. He was healed supernaturally when he traveled to find Elisha, and did what Elisha told him to do. Elisha was Jewish. Naaman was a powerful, non-Jewish military commander. Hereās Naamanās story:

Becky Dvorak on the Sid Rothās show talked about her husband who died suddenly and how she refused to give into the medical doctorsā words about his condition. He is completely fine and well today. Someone that I know has been using Becky Dvorakās scripture cards to pray and believe for her close friend who is battling a late stage cancer. Check out her interview on the Sid Roth show.

One caution that Iād like to mention about those who have the gift of faith for āhealing and miraclesā – sometimes they can go awry and prideful very quickly so just be mindful about that. When I was listening to Pastor Tim Kellerās love sermon series, I was really shocked to hear that the leader of the cult in Waco, Texas was a Christian who knew his Bible very well and he focused on the supernatural powers of āhealing and miraclesā.
In February 1993, I was a junior in college and I was super busy with school work, research and studying for the GRE. I rarely watched the news back but even I heard about David Koresh and the stand off with the FBI in Waco, Texas. For the younger people, here is a link about his cult and their tragic ending.

In my opinion, a disciple of Jesus Christ should be focused on developing love, and out of that love, a ministry develops. However, my old definition of love was based entirely upon what the entertainment industry and cultural traditions taught me. I was discipled by the enemy on love. I had to unlearn everything and relearn what love is according to the Bible. Here is Tim Kellerās sermon series about love. Please hear all his sermons. In this sermon, he quoted David Koresh. It was awful and so evil. It was totally opposite of Love chapter in 1 Corinthians 13. It amazes me that Christians were caught up and destroyed by his lies and misapplications of the Bible. He was a successful Christian cult leader.
I started to read Tim and Kathy Kellerās book on the meaning of marriage. I highly recommend it to everyone! He cites many research studies on marriages and happy relationships. Itāll feed your faith to see that what the Bible teaches about marriage is what works best for you and your long term happiness. When you read books like this, you are learning good, solid Bible theology that will help you understand Godās ways. Obedience is still your choice but at least you will see Godās roadmap for a good marriage. https://gospelinlife.com/campaign/26-06-meaning-of-marriage/
Women to women, we need to warn one another about unscrupulous and evil men who may come into the church to take advantage of us or to recruit us away from our safe and secure environment. Some may come in who are violent and cunning in nature. Hereās a good article by someone who married a violent man in a Christian community and now found her voice to speak about domestic violence in the church. She gives guidance for us in the church community. Her experiences and perspectives were very helpful.
According to studies and reports that Iāve read on domestic violence, the parents/caregivers need to have discussions about healthy relationships and boundaries by ages 12-13. I know itās super awkward but it can save the young people in your family and circle of influence from being involved in dangerous relationships. Please read this good guide:
A ministry friend shared this with me. Itās a great message for all ages. He was a big time player and partier before getting saved. He got saved because despite living life of pleasure and pursuit of what he thought would make him āhappyā; he was miserable and very depressed. Here is the message description:
āAre you worried about wasting your 20s & 30s? It’s easy to assume you have all the time in the world, but Scripture is clear we don’t know how many days we get ā so what are yours going to be marked by? This week, Jonathan “JP” Pokluda kicks off our Porch 20 celebration by walking us through five things he’d tell himself if he could go back.ā

As the summer approaches, please be mindful of the importance of being steadfast in God, especially if you are the only person in your family who is seeking Jesus Christ wholeheartedly. Remember that you are the only conduit for your family membersā blessings, protection and Godās amazing grace. I see myself as the ark of the covenant in the Old Testament times, and I bring His blessings, mercies, presence wherever I am. Therefore, itās super important that I am steadfast in my faith on behalf of my non-believing family members, friends and community. This short devotional teaches you how to be steadfast in God and not drift away. Whenever I do the things that are listed in this article, I imagine myself in the video game of Pac-man. The daily rituals of studying the Bible, listening to good sermons, and praying alone are my daily manna. But whenever I meet with other believers, pray/study corporately, attend church on Sundays, receive prayers, etc – thatās when I gobble up a bonus fruit for extra points, or the superpower food in the corners that allow me to attack the enemy without getting hurt. I hope you understand the rules of the Pac-man video game. Itās been around since the 80s. Please play it again if you get a chance.

Iām really excited and shocked to read this news about a massive Christian gathering in the Netherlands š³š± and fueled by the Gen Zās! It is a miracle. Wow. I am speechless.
Iāll end my newsletter now. I shared a lot of information. Iām still amazed by whatās happening in the Netherlands. Wow. With much prayer and in the love of Jesus Christ šā¤ļø
(I came across this on a facebook post. Itās a beautiful recap.)
āThe Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness. He will not always strive with us; nor will He keep His anger forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear Him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. Just as a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.
You have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, Abba! Father! The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.āNow in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow-citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household.ā
