Hello friends. Here’s a message from four years ago. I’ll add my new comments in blue. In His Grace, ❤️

Hello ladies!
Here is our next MIP prayer sheet for Wednesday, 11/16 at 1pm. Theme is “God is Mighty.” As I was typing this, I felt the Holy Spirit asking me “Do you believe this?” Being honest here, like the father who brought his son to Jesus’ disciples for healing and deliverance but they were not able to; I’d also say like this father to Jesus, “I believe; help my unbelief.” I give credit to the father that at least he knew who to bring his son to for healing and deliverance. When we pray to God through our Lord Jesus Christ, then I believe we are like this dad. Here is their story:

We’ll pray on Wednesday and bring our children/peers, their schools and needs using this prayer theme – GOD IS MIGHTY:
Ever since I was commissioned by the Lord to establish a women’s prayer group in 2016, I had to learn and study the what’s, how’s, who’s of prayer. (Then in 2017, I had a strong sense to open up another “prayer store” at my town. My flesh was not enthused but I obeyed.)
The prayer groups felt like I was running a couple of local stores. Prayer ministry “store” is like a revolving door with customers coming and going. There are a few people who stayed and kept the store opened with me for a season or more. It’s has been a very interesting journey and I have learned so much about individual and corporate prayers by running this prayer ministry “store”. (After some time of running the two “prayer stores”, I realized that the stores that I manage are not best supplied or equipped for “healing miracles”. I also come to see that faith is very, very important for this type of ask. Therefore I always bring in someone that I personally know who has the gift of faith for healing when there’s this need. Or I point out ministries or churches that I observed have greater faith for healing with higher success rates. Just like we go to different stores for different needs, it’s okay to do that as well for physical and spiritual needs that we have. If you have been contending and praying for a long time for freedom and relief but haven’t seen much progress, please spend more time listening to God, and seek the scriptures for promises in the Bible for your breakthrough. Don’t accept the situation and the disappointment so easily. Contend for your breakthrough with other like-minded believers who will support your pursuit of freedom and wellbeing. After you receive your breakthrough, make sure you tell others about it. Sharing your testimony is a way to thank God for your breakthrough and staying humble.)
You would think that I would feel very confident about my knowledge of prayer. Nope not at all, I feel like I have only tapped into the surface of prayer. One thing I am confident is that God responds to our tear-filled prayers, especially for others. Here is a wonderful, true testimony of a mom’s prayers for her drug-addicted daughter being answered through her local MIP group. May it inspire us to persevere in prayer for our children/grandchildren and our friend’s children too. Many times our prayer meetings were mom’s-in-tears meetings. Why? Because we were so heartbroken about the situation of the youth in our country. These days I am sure even if you don’t have teenagers and young adults, you are also heartbroken about them too. Please pray and cry out to our God through our Lord Jesus Christ and ask for a revival in our land. This is our only hope.
By the way, as you pray for other people’s children and grandchildren then one day when your children and grandchildren need SOS help, then your children and family will be incredibly blessed because they will have many believers who will be interceding with you for their crisis. It is not IF the storm will come, but WHEN. Preparation is key to not being overcome by the storms of life.
If the Holy Spirit is leading you to open up a prayer “store” in your local area, please listen and obey. Then keep the prayer “store” open until the Holy Spirit releases you from your post or hands off the store key to another prayer person(s). Let there never be an interruption or void in prayer for our children and grandchildren, and their schools. Remember also that the store’s owner is God and we are his store managers and workers. As a customer, if you have a complaint about a manager or worker at your local prayer “store”, you can talk directly to the Owner about us too. 🙂 But please understand that it’s not easy to keep a store open for business. A good retail store should have fresh foods and supplies; be punctual, prepared and presentable. Sometimes life storms happen to us, and as store managers we are not always at our best.
Perfection is the enemy of progress. I had to let go of perfection while running the prayer stores and I am learning to be okay with making mistakes, forgiving and laughing at myself too. Please extend the same grace and kindness to your local pastors and church leaders. They are keeping their “store” open for business as best as possible. Please pray for them and encourage them whenever you can.
Prayer Updates:
- My nephew B is doing very well. It was only six weeks ago when he got into a horrible car accident on the highway and had to be airlifted to a hospital. No broken bones or brain injury. It is truly amazing. His only surgery was in his intestinal area due to seatbelt trauma. Surgeon cleared him last week to drive and go back to work again. Thank you so much for praying for B. God has spared his life and our family from much grief and suffering. (My nephew is doing very well. Every time I see him, I am still amazed how he survived that highway crash without any problems. I often pray that God’s angels keep me and all my family members safe from or even through accidents. God has surely answered that prayer requests for my nephew, and who knows what else for the rest of us. Only when I get to heaven, I will know all that we were spared from.)
- My church lead pastor is doing very well from his surgery last week. According to our associate pastor on Sunday, his surgery went smoothly and his recovery is happening quickly too. Thank you so much for praying for him.
That’s it for today. Take care and God bless you abundantly! With love and prayers from your librarian, 🙏❤️
FYI, my co-leader, Y and I were running a “prayer store” under moms-in-prayer international as our head banner. We were like a local franchise “prayer store”. After about 4 years, we stopped participating with them when we realized that we couldn’t adhere to their rules of prayer format. We needed more flexibility when listening and praying in the Holy Spirit. That’s okay, I understand. If I’m to use their name, then I need to keep their prayer format rules. But I learned so much from MIP international. They taught me the importance of repentance before asking. Now I like to repent daily and immediately, and also forgive myself and others quickly too.
Soon after, we consolidated our two prayer group “stores” together and placed our two groups under the covering of our church. As you can see, accountability and covering are very important for all ministry volunteers and workers. This is for you, and your members’ protection and safety. (Whenever you join a local church or support a ministry financially, please check out their website for their accountability, who they report to, and who their board members are. If the board members are all family members and close friends, and don’t rotate enough new people into the board then I’d be suspicious and I’d give my money elsewhere.)
God had other expansion plans for me to do. The college Facebook group that I created when my daughter started college was taking off and we were starting to praying together weekly, not sporadically. God sent me couple of regulars who became prayer store managers with me for our college group. We are still praying together and have expanded our reach beyond one college to Gen Z (ages 14-29).

Therefore, since we have these [great and wonderful] promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, completing holiness [living a consecrated life—a life set apart for God’s purpose] in the fear of God.
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for the great and wonderful promises that you gave all of your children through Jesus Christ. As we set ourselves apart, and live consecrated holy lives in the fear and reverence of the Lord, thank you that in Jesus Christ all promises are ours to glorify Your Son. 🙏
Here’s a very good article by Derek Prince about the fear of the Lord being a treasure. Having that in good measure; I listen and learn, obey and trust God, and leave the consequences to Him. https://www.derekprince.com/teaching/04-3
