This summer and fall, I’ve been enjoying and blessed by visiting area churches. I also formed relationships with believers in different churches that I would not have met if I stayed only at PAC. As the grave situation with Alex has been settled, I have been praying now about whether to go back to PAC or become rooted elsewhere.

I shared this information with my prayer Google group ladies and I believe it was a warning for someone in the group. Last time I checked there are 128 people receiving my emails. 😳 Some I don’t remember who they are and how we met. After I shared this message, couple of ladies replied back to me. One woman’s cousin died in the Christian cult with cancer and sadly she excommunicated herself from family members. Another shared that her daughter’s friend is involved with a cult-like church and now they are praying together if they should get involved to help this young lady. It’s important to get warned about Christian cults because after my research I see that it can happen to anyone with zeal for God but is biblically illiterate.

I have been subscribing to Christian-based Axis’s newsletters for few years now. They recently offered their information to parents on how to talk to your teenagers about Cancel Culture and LGBTQ+. Both reports are free and the links are below. It’s very clear that the staff have listened well, done their research and searched the scriptures to suggest their advice for parents and the church. I live with a non-believing husband and teenagers. I believe their assessment and advice are sound and helpful, especially if I am trying to win them over to Jesus Christ. Too many believers severe their relationships over these issues. What benefit is there in severing our bridges? Aren’t we ambassadors for Jesus? Sometimes we are placed in hostile territories or relationships because we are the only light in these areas. Stay in there as a good, wise ambassador until God releases you from the post.

Here is an update that I sent to few ladies in my life whom I’ve shared honestly and openly about Alex. Although you don’t know me I thank you for following me and praying for me and my family too. I hope one day very soon, I get a green light🚦from the Holy Spirit that I can come out of hiding and show you my smiling photo. 🙂

This song by Don Meon keeps on coming up in my mind lately. – https://youtu.be/0H2PxM4LmnM
This coming Friday and Saturday, we will be traveling to Indiana University to visit Alex for parent weekend. I bought our airline tickets early summer when I heard that this weekend is super busy and warned by the IU parent Facebook group to book everything early.

I have been very heartbroken 💔 about the events at Afghanistan. Especially as a former feminist, I know that the women in Afghanistan will suffer immediately and immeasurably by the Taliban. Christian homes, collaborators with the US and allies are already being targeted and massacred. Generally, the parents and elderly are killed, and their young people will be taken as slaves. As I was seeking the Lord on how to pray for the Christian teenagers in Afghanistan, the Holy Spirit brought to my attention the Bible studies I did on the books of Daniel and Esther. They were Jewish teenagers when taken captive to serve very brutal and powerful empires and kings. I will be praying for the Afghan youth with biblical wisdom in this academic year.

This is a picture that we have on our bedroom wall to remind us of our road-trip to Italy’s Tuscany region. There were many sunflower farms there, along with plenty of grape vineyards for wine.
Why am I suddenly so interested in sunflowers? Because of this sunflower prophecy that Sid Roth shared recently. I know it’s important to test prophecies. I’m far from knowing how to do this well but I am desperate for a revival in our churches, country and the world. Prior to the pandemic, I prayed for a revival often enough; but now I am praying for a revival daily. This is our only hope. There is no other option.

I did a Bible study on the book of Zachariah recently and the name Zechariah means “God remembers.” A church friend, Teresa whom I’ve lost touch with when her husband went overseas for work; I recently ran into her and her family at a local church that I was visiting. Her family came back to NJ and was now attending this church. She was pregnant with her fourth son and told me that they will name him Zechariah. This made me cry because in my very difficult season with my daughter, I was being reassured that “God remembers”. God remembers my obedience to His voice to stay in my marriage, my services to His church and people, my submission to His will and ways.
